I'm trying to a) improve camp without spending a ton of money and b) improve my general handiness, and I was wondering how some of y'all have gone about doing it. Any tips, projects, etc?
Last year we put an ez up between two cars, then I attached a 20x20 tarp over the ez up and cars. Tied 2 corners of the tarp to the grills of the car, and the other 2 corners to 2 ten foot poles behind the cars and staked down with guy line. It left us with a cool and dark area with a constant breeze.
The tarp guide in my sig shows a couple step by step examples. And it cost less than an additional ez up while proving even more shade.
I have a solar shower - my ex bought one and never took it back - but I am looking into building some sort of shower stall for this year, I think. I have some ideas, but I'm not sure about height/suspension methods.
Also trying to figure out how to make a telescoping PVC section that tapers, as part of a project for a camp beacon. Not sure quite how to do that yet.
