The above article reports Muse as the Saturday headliner and Dave Matthews Band as the Sunday one. Saturday also has Ludacris and Sunday has Sting and Grace Potter and The Nocturnals. Friday lineup is still TBA
Above is the fest website but it lacks a full update. I would check it closer to time for the full schedule. The concerts are free and at Centennial park so in essence its just show up and enjoy. This the 3rd year for it at the Final 4. I anticipate Muse being late afternoon Saturday as they perform last before the first semifinal game. Last year that was the Black Keys slot and their set ended about 30 minutes before tipoff. Likely Muse will do a 75 minute to 90 minute set.

I am sure it will be as many people as they can fit in the park and then overflow. It s a huge promotional event for Final 4 weekend and there have not been capacity limits the last 2 years in New Orleans and Houston. As to when to get there, I would say it depends on how close you want to be and the sight lines of the venue. I am not overly familiar with the logistics of Centennial Park. Perhaps , if you are only going for the goal of seeing Muse, I would suggest getting there an hour or 2 ahead of time to allow scouting for a good spot.

What is it that folks like about Dave Matthews? Not trying to start a riff, just asking. I've seen him several times because he is often at festivals that I'm at and I never enjoy it. I did like a couple of songs at his most recent Bonnaroo show. But out of all the times I've seen him, that's it.
I do appreciate the band behind Dave Matthews, and He is a great drummer. But he's no...this guy...
You may want to skip to about 40 seconds in on this video. This event does seem cool and I'm elated that they are getting hip bands to surround the Final Four. In years past it's been a top 40 nightmare.
It appears they are doing things a bit different this year to allow for more music on Saturday. Here is the general schedule with band time slots to be filled in later I am sure:
This states music on Friday will go from 3pm-10pm (ATT Block Party Big Dance Concert Series: Artists TBA, Saturday 12pm-9:30pm: Coca Cola Zero Countdown: (Artists: Flo-Rida/Ludacris/Ryan Lewis and Macklemore, Muse, Sunday 2pm-10pm: Capitol One Jam Fest Big Dance Concert Series: Artists:(Grace Potter and The Nocturnals, Sting, and Dave Mathews Band.
Last year the music ended late afternoon on Saturday to allow for a huge semifinal viewing party. The other 2 days had similar 8 hour schedules. It looks like Muse will have a full night time set with their famous light show. Also, I would anticipate Sting going on early evening before a wrap up set by DMB Sunday night. I would anticipate with the tournament announcement coming next weekend that the Friday undercard and headliner should be announced in the next 10 days or so to hype that up with the other two days. As I see more information I will of course post in this thread.
