Maybe its just because I'm from the great white north but The Sheepdogs newest self-titled album which was produced by Justin Bieber Patrick Carney is really really stellar. Listen to it once and you will feel like you've been listening to it your whole life...in a really really good way.
One of my most anticipated acts of the year and definitely deserves a thread. If you like classic rock at all listen to this album and I personally guarantee you wont be disappointed.
Apil 25th: The Sheepdogs
May 15th: Flying Lotus
June 11th: The Postal Service
June 13-16th: Roo
August 3rd: Grove Music Festival (Phoenix, Hot Chip, Girl Talk)

"Hello there, my noble, strong, fellow Canadians. If you are watching this film strip, then no doubt Canada is in grave danger. As you know, the very heart of Canada is the Royal Family. If you have been ordered to open your Box of Faith, then one or more of the Royal Family must be in peril. Or else you just opened your Box of Faith and are watching this without being told to, in which case you are a d*ck. If you have indeed been instructed to open the box, then this is a call to arms! All Canadians in fighting condition are asked to meet by the tree in Edmonton. In your Box of Faith you will find all the items you need: a location beacon, a first-aid kit, and a sandwich. You may eat the sandwich now. Good luck, Canadian citizen, and God help. All of Canada is relying on you.
Also top 5 show attended by Canadians, and with that thought....
The Americans won't be likely to venture into this thread, and I feel it's safe enough to speak freely. This is where we plan to take over Bonnaroo. We have been making great strides these past few years, as our presence is becoming more and more known. But we can do better! We need to assemble as many as possible. Bring your friends. Bring your parents. And bring your grandmothers ( assuming she has not yet been cast out on to the Artic sea on ice flows yet)
My fellow Canadians! It is time to take what may not rightfully be ours, but we like it so we'll take it anyway.
It's time to shed our image of polite, apologetic kindness. Together we are strong!
We will march on Bonnaroo (as long as the Stanley Cup Finals are not on the tv), We will Sing Out out Songs of Victory ( as long as nobody complains about us being too loud). And we WILL claim Bonnaroo in the name of Canada!!!(as long as they're ok with that).

Weird, my post would have started similar to yours, but with some slight modifications.
"Maybe its just because I'm from the great white north, but I am so fucking sick of The Sheepdogs. If I walk by their tent when they are playing, and hear them playing I Don't Know, I may actually charge the stage and strangle each band member with a guitar cable."
I screamed for them at Roo in '11, but have since gotten so sick of them. Maybe I should blame The Edge for playing it twice an hour, for an entire year.

The freedom of America will be felt by my presence. These guys are hands down in my top 10 this year.
