As much as I want this to be true, I just don't see it happening. Has a headliner ever been announced later than the original lineup announcement?

I will buy that! But I was hoping for Mumford to headline though so I could rest up for sat nite! Prince>björk legendary! They might have to stop doing the fest after that because they will never top it!

I'd say Mumford is much much bigger than Arcade Fire was when they headlined in 2011. Toooooons of people like them, I mean, isn't everyone calling them "the biggest band in the world"? They've dominated the mainstream for the past year, Grammys, radio, albums sold, etc. I'm personally not a huge fan, but I think you're all underestimating them. When I showed the lineup to my non-musically-versed friends most of them really only knew the headliners, and the only one they were excited about were Mumford.

I've learned not to get my hopes up. So I'm gonna say you're wrong. And screw off for getting my hopes up. And also, I hope you're right.

I love how so many people keep pretending Mumford isnt headliner worthy????pull your head out of your ass. If no one likes them, why did they absolutely pack the which in 2011 on 1 album? How did they sell 600k!! In the first week of Babel? How are all their shows sold out? Its too bad certain people are too cool for them (happens with all huge bands), because as true Roo fans youre going to miss a great show.

yeah cuz arcade fire was a weak ass headliner. good thing they had mmj and primus kind-of headling that night too or else friday '11 woulda sucked. arcade fire will, sooner rather than later, fade into obscurity while mumford has already cemented themselves as a mainstay. mumford is number two on the line up... and they'll stay there. the only reason they weren't number one was because of macca... think about it. kings of fucking leon were number one with TWO hits and a few albums no one listened to. mumford are number two with FOUR hits and 2 albums everyone listens to. we're not getting prince. lol.
