I just signed up for the Gathering of the Vibes message boards and they have this awesome "panic button" feature where you can choose a website and place a button on the bottom of your screen to click in case you are at work and the boss comes around and you want to jump to a "more appropriate website".

I just use multiple tabs or I minimize the screen. It's the same amount of work as clicking. Not sure if there's a function like that on proboards but we'll try to look into it.
Have you ever tried using alt+tab? When I hear footsteps approaching I just alt+tab to my work email inbox. It takes less time to click alt+tab than it would for me to mouse over and click a panic button. (Command+tab if you're on mac)

Most browsers have shortcuts for tabs as well. So if you hit CTRL + 1 it will switch to the first tab. CTRL + 2 = second tab, CTRL + 3 = third tab and so on.
PS got a new job behind a computer and I totally appreciate the censoring of the site for easy work access.
Yea since I monitored the web for my work NSFW was great too. At first we couldn't go to any social sites, but they soon learned that today it is near impossible to not use the web...But yea, thanks mods for not letting us pull up something better not seen at work anyway...... cr****

Throwback!!!! That site was better then any old book we dug up in gradeschool health class. Glad to see people never forget. "if my mom sees it in my history ill just say i was doing a research project."
it's funny because I am usually the productivity Nazi at work, not because I want to be but because it's literally part of my job as a manager, but all day today I was toggling back and forth to a tab open to inforoo. setting a good example: fail.
