I had vowed not to buy any more supplies for the farm, but buckled yesterday and ordered four of the small 5" 02Cool fans (one for each person in our tent) just in case it is miserably hot and humid. They were only $7.99 each, and I spent $12 on 12 D-cell batteries. $44 to keep four people a little more comfortable seems worth it.
You make me look bad. I spent roughly $200 on keeping-cool-things.

I'm going out and purchasing some puddle stompers just in case we get rain this year! I've got a feeling about this one... It's been really humid here lately.

It looks as if we'll be having 83 degree weather this year. Not too bad, hopefully the nights cool down tremendously like the wonderful weather we had last year.

Yup! Looks like we may, just may, have a Mid 80's Bonnaroo. Anyone remember what the highs and lows were last year? It was PERFECT but I can't remember what the actual numbers were.

A quick google search for "Bonnaroo weather 2012" just turned up a couple blog entries of people complaining about how Bonnaroo 2012 was the worst experience ever because they almost died from heat stroke and dehydration. Idiots..
I seem to remember that, at about this time last year, it was predicted to be hot as hell during Bonnaroo. We all know how accurate that forecast turned out. Still too early, people. I will start trusting forecasts around Tuesday of next week.

I would say look at the forecast on Sunday of this week and by then, we should know a little better as to what we might be in store for this year weather wise.

My best friend is a meteorologist and he always tells me every single year, don't trust anything over 4 days. You can get a good idea of temps 7 days out, but precipitation is a crapshot to predict at anything over 4 days. Buy your rainboots or your dust masks on Sunday my friends.
I expect it will be hot, cold, muddy, sunny, rainy and dusty again. I do love Tennessee.
Right. But it's part of the pre-roo-info ritual. Try to predict the weather. Plan the brunch. Talk about arrival times. Bitch about the schedule. Speculate a surprise Daft Punk show. Talk about the importance of water. Rape bus. How long will you wait in line. How to get to the PIT. And so on and so forth.
Like sands through the hourglass, so our the days of inforoo.

You've been here before!
Once or twice. HA!
For some reason when I read that I did it in a Lord of the Rings type accent.

Well this morning I am really liking what I am seeing on the extended forecast! It's honestly finally in line with the website I have been checking out but didn't know if I could trust it: theweatherwiz.com
I used that site when planning for my outside wedding ceremony and it really was on point. So going by that again and looking at the extended forecast on weather.com, accuweather.com & wunderground.com we are gonna have a fabulous time on the farm!

Right now Accuweather and Weather.com couldn't disagree more, it seems. Weather.com is saying mostly dry and sunny, whereas Accuweather is saying mostly rainy and cloudy. But also, considering the NWS map up there, I think Weather.com appears more accurate. Also, the temperatures at this point seem to be stabilized in the mid-80s, but with humidity that might not matter so much.

Are you sure you're looking at the right city?
My accuweather.com for Manchester, TN for June 13,14,15,16 show sun, warm some clouds temps 86-91 degrees.
I'm at work so I can't link to the image. For the weather.com it only goes out 10 days and it shows Thurs 86 and 20% rain and Friday 84 and 0% rain. Wunderground.com shows chance of storm but I believe in the other chnce that it won't storm.
I accept a shower will happen and small shower is also helpful, I just don't want rain while Paul McCartney is playing on Friday night!!
