nothing too big... There was a man speaking as the final credits rolled, but I can not remember what he said. The very last shot is the side profile of Bruce Campbell. He says, "Groovy" and then it ends. Not anything super fancy, but definitely a little treat.
thanks. i knew it was something, but was talking to my sister about what she thought of the movie while it happened. i have the originals, but it has been a long time since i have seen them. my sister does not like these types of movies at all so i was excited to see what she thought. she slept on her couch that night.
I love the Horror Genre. Always have. I love everything from Hitchcock to 80's B movie. I love the 90's revitalization of the horror genre. I love the old black and white films. I enjoy the psychological thrillers and the mock movies that are a nod to horror films. Give me it all. Ghosts, Slasher, Psycho killers, Crazy boyfriends, Found Footage. I love anything that will scare the pants off of me. I want to be scared.
When I started seeing the trailers for Evil Dead, I have to say that I was a little bit terrified. I mean I want to see this film because like any fan of the original, I want to check out if it did it justice. But there was just something about the previews that terrified me. And I'm a little bit nervous that I will embarrass my self by screaming like a little girl and cowering in fear at the theater. But I'm making a point to see it this week.
I had a screamer in the row ahead of me. Most of the kids in the theater (and I do mean kids) I don't think knew the original movie and didn't really get the movie. I felt I got my monies worth though and might see it again.
