I've had Let's Go stuck in my head for much of the week. It's earworm material, but not my favorite. However, saw part of their set (2011?) and have seen them live on TV. It's fun and I can see why others love it more than I.
I'm surprised that not more people on here is talking about there set. It looks like it will be one of the most crowded tents. Animal Collective will be packed out, Tama Impala, Alt-J, and ASAP Rockey.
I have never listen to them until about two weeks ago, but I am hooked now. There so catchy. I might leave Portugal the Man 15 or 20 minutes early so I can at least get under the tent.

I saw them two years ago at Roo when I didn't really know them well. The tent was PACKED and the crowd was crazy fun. They put on some awesome concerts with a lot of energy, and it's just plain fun to listen and dance to. I remember, in one of Matt & Kim's interviews, they said that the Other Tent was designed to hold about 15,000 people and it was estimated that there was around 25,000 who stopped to see them. Needless to say, I am DEFINITELY going to be as close as I can to see them this year.

I was in the middle/middle and it was crazy in there. How f*cking insane was it when they called for people to body surf? I don't know how many people went up but it seemed like a few dozen. Normally I hate crowd surfers but that was just madness that had me laughing with joy. This show was packed. Their 2011 show was also one of my favorites despite being unable to see the band at all. They need to be in a bigger tent next time and they'd kill a late night. Did anyone use Kim's dating service?
I too am surprised no one is talking about this. I went by myself and had the best time. I was on the edge of the tent near the front and by the end of the show, after the pushing and crowd surfing madness, I ended up under the tent smack in the middle. They are just so high energy you can't help but have a good time. Sadly enough, I was waiting for my invitation for Kim's dating service and did not receive one! Ha. But my foot swelled up like crazy from being stomped on during the show.
I agree about moving them to a late night set and bigger venue. They would kill it. From what I could tell, the tent was packed beyond belief as well as all the surrounding areas.
Not sure how I did it, but little 5'0" me got a perfect spot for the show last night.
I suspect it was your footstool's assistance.
Actually, no... I learned my lesson at Bonnaroo... Stools just get in the way at a Matt and Kim show. I wormed my way through the sardine crowd ("Excuse me, I'm so sorry, but my boyfriend went that way and I'm just trying to get back to him..." works like a charm )
They had front and center rails - similar to What stage at Bonnaroo. I made it to the center rail, three people back from the front rail. I actually stood on the bottom rung of the rail for a lot of the show, leaning towards the center to see the show. Security would walk up and down the center path and just smile at me.
Agreed. They're one of those bands I have on my spotify playlist but wouldn't buy or listen to a whole album of. A couple of songs at a time is good. They are fun live the 2 times I've seen them.
