After we left Coachella we went to the left coast and visited my sis in Paso Robles. They have lived there for years but her SO and sis really are from around weenieson which is around Nashville for those who don't know. Anyway, so for dinner she actually asked if we wanted to be "good" and eat Cali style grilled chicken, a salad of fresh greens/heirloom tomatoes, and a glass of ice cold filtered water. OR ...."bad" deep fried chicken, mashed potatoes/chicken gravy, fried green tomatoes, and sweet tea. After a week of Cali fresh, that damn grease took 15 minutes to clean off of my beard ..... cr****

I'm desperately trying to remember the name of the vendor (not a food truck) that had the huge plates of curried chicken and veggies last year. It was over near the ferris wheel and the Adult Swim thing. So freakin' good...and super filling!
Are you guys sure the Thurman Murman isn't a one-time special? I looked at their regular menu and couldn't find it.
I went somewhere last year that had fried cauliflower and brussel sprouts. Delicious! Also, the giant cajun food vendor near Which Stage is good too.
I checked urbanspoon and there are multiple comments about getting the Thurman Murman at the food truck around Charleston. Also, I think the menu on their site is for the restaurant and not the food truck.

I really hope that huge cajun stand is back, anyone know the name of that place? After RHCP, they started doing $5 for as much rice, beans, and chicken they could fit on your plate, they eventually just gave it away for free. Most satisfying meal on the farm for me last year.

Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Had some great hummus last year from one of the Food Trucks that was over by the giant waterslide, definitely worth checking out if your into hummus was a nice afternoon snack not too heavy but gave me some much needed energy at the time.

That was a damn good slice, but that Thurman Murman was prob the best thing I've ever eaten. Ever.
Sadly, the arepas at Wanee sucked. Like threw half of one away sucked.

I hope Siri Grill is back. I ate there so much last year that I was on a first name basis with them by Sunday. I'd never had jerk chicken before, but OMG their's is so delicious. I tried googling them to ask if they were returning this year, but nothing comes up.
