Mountain Oasis Electric Pale Ale, the Official Beer of Our Festival!
The Electric Pale Ale was proudly created by Asheville Brewing Company‘s Superstar Head Brewer Doug Riley and is the perfect mash-up of El Dorado hops and the always electric Citra hops creating a delicious brew with a floral nose, a rocking profile and a fresh, clean finish. Great music and great beer have always gone together and we are proud that the Electric Pale Ale is the official craft brew of the Mountain Oasis Music Festival.
In Asheville? Come celebrate The Ale with us at the official EPA launch party at The Mill Room on Wednesday September 18, 5pm-8pm! Marley Carroll will be spinning tracks, and there’ll be free t-shirts available for the first 100 people through the door; we’ll also have h’ors d’oeuvres as well as The Electric Pale Ale for sale!
Home of the Shiva IPA, Asheville Brewing Company (ABC) has been creating tasty craft-brews in Asheville since 1997. ABC has expanded to include 3 different locations in Asheville including their 2 brewing locations and The Mill, their brand new 350 person event space. 2013 is proving to be a monumental year for the local brewery as they are projected to produce 8,000 bbls (barrels for those not up on their beer jargon) by the end of the year, that’s almost triple what they produced in 2012.

I am going to be staying at motel 6 again. Once I book a flight and reserve a car rental I will be breathing easier, but at least I have one of three done.

The last time I stayed at that Motel 6, I witnessed a guy mowing the lawn in a thunderstorm, holding an umbrella. It summed up my time at the hotel well.

Ha! Yeah, its a pretty low rate option but it has served its purpose in the last two years I stayed there for moogfest. Its also the cheapest option seeing how wherever I fly in to is going to cost me
It's really not a bad place. We stayed there our first year. I drug my feet and DTI booked up. If I'm only there for a night, it's my go-to. I complain about parking in Asheville but I've never had that much of a problem.
Do you taxi in or rent a car?

Last time I was at a Motel 6... well, I'm pretty sure the only other people staying there were sketchy folk and their low grade prostitutes.
I can't remember if the lawnmower incident was the the same night I had a phone call, at 5 AM, asking what color my panties were. I told em to give me their cell number and I would show 'em.

I have always had a car. Taxi rates are too expensive. I have never had a problem at the motel 6 the last two years, but I am only their to sleep and shower. I make sure I spend as much time as I can exploring. Rental prices are not that bad. Parking in downtown has never been an issue. I park in the same lot every day.
ok i'm back in. life is short! missing a week of work in october to go to vegas and asheville is totally legit right?
