Totally in!! I live like 30 minutes away from Asheville, so I'm not quite sure if I'm going to drive home or stay at a friend's in Asheville. If anyone needs local advice, please don't hesitate to ask!
I feel like maybe it's been discussed in the other thread (sorry if it's also already been answered), but at what point do y'all think the hotel will fill up? I'm wondering if I should go ahead and just book a room, even though I haven't bought a ticket to the fest yet.
Edit: tickets aren't on sale yet, I was getting ahead of myself! I guess the question really is whether rooms will likely still be available in a couple of weeks?

What do you guys think about calling DTI to try and reserve an entire floor? We can keep the party rooms on the Mountain side, and anyone wanting a quieter room can be citys ide?
If this is something yall would be intersted let me know and I'll compile a list of names (the name of the person the room is reserved under) and calling them.

If you wanna take over, Phi, that is cool! I called them tonight about getting a group rate discount set up. I was going to speak with the manager at 10 tomorrow morning, but since you already have a history with the place, know what you're talking about, maybe you should talk to him?
It doesnt matter to me. I was also going to ask about a group rate. I think we could at the very least all get the 10% AAA rate. I know they gave it to me last year and I didnt even ask, or have AAA.

Dr. Patel cancelled Phi's room last year after Phi complained, so no, he is probably not the best person.

Hmmm. I wonder if it would be that loud if you was on the mountain side but staying on a lower floor?
