I know most people are leaving on Monday but are there any folks leaving at any point Sunday afternoon/night that would be heading past an airport? Trying to figure out if I'm going to need a rental car. Not sure if I'll definitely be able to get that Monday off yet...deciding whether it's better to take of Thursday/Friday or Friday/Monday and looking at flights.

Raleigh/Durham is completely the wrong direction Knox or Nash really.

We live in the Nashville area, so would be heading west when we leave. I think the Raleigh/Durham airport is a good distance the wrong direction for us, unfortunately. If you want to take a look at a map to see what airports are between Nashville and Asheville, we'd be happy to get you to one of them if you find reasonable flights.

Damn....alright, I gotta look into this more. Was hoping to fly in and out of the same airports but not sure how I'll be getting to MOEM yet from the airport. Might have to look into a rental car. I'll let you know.

I don't know when ncb and I are driving down, Thursday or Friday, or I would be offering to pick ya up from the airport, ITM. She's in charge, I'm just copilot on this magic carpet ride. I know we aren't leaving until Monday though.

Leaving the fest early on Sunday would suck a lot more than missing out on the random Thursday shenanigans, IMO. There will be plenty of shenanigans going on all weekend to make up for it.

I'd strongly recommend Ben's Tune Up and Seven Sows Bourbon and Larder to you folks. Two of many great places that have popped up just in the last year.

Yea, I don't have as many acts I know/am dying to see on Sunday so that's why it wasn't that big of a problem but I think I will be leaning towards flying out thursday night/friday morning and then heading home monday.

So. As it turns out a friend of mine won't be able to make it, which means I now have a reservation for a pod at Sweet Pea's hostel available for the weekend. If I drop it now there's no extra charge or anything, but I figured I would give y'all first dibs on account of the fact that I kind of figured there would be some poor souls here without a place to sleep for the festival.
