I am always rooting for Bonnaroo to be the best festival each year. Even when it's not the best on paper, the overall Bonnaroo experience is rarely matched by another festival for me.
At the beginning of the festival season, when we were all still speculating as to who would be headlining the major fests this year, we were all a little stumped. It didn't seem like many headliner-worthy acts were touring and the ones that were didn't seem likely to be able to make it to 'Roo based on tour dates. Then we got the initial rumor about Macca from that Dutch article.
With the additions last week and some of the surprises on the Cinema Tent lineup today, Bonnaroo has put together far and away my favorite lineup of any festival in recent memory.
We scored Macca and a hell of an undercard on what seemed would be a weak year. And now, I don't know if I could see everything I want to even if Bonnaroo added another 4 days.

I agree. The more I listen to people from the Line Up the more I am finding really good artist. At first look I was only somewhat excited about the Line Up but as time has gone on I have realized this should be the most epic thing I have ever done. And Bonnaroo is to blame.
Easily my favorite bonnaroo ever! Far and away! I had 04 (my first bonnaroo) over 09 by a hair but this one kicks both their buts, in my opinion. I really hope I get no catch the no no word stuff with reno 911, and the rocky horror w polyphonic spree and Michael Winslow and the 80's sing along! but of course real live music first. Way to go bonnaroo! What a great year for my triumphant return.
