I read the new wrist-band policy and now it seems that you have to register your band upon entering Bonnaroo. So I just wanted to know if you all think it is a good idea to purchase a ticket from stubhub?

stub hub is legit! I have used stubhub the past 2 years and never had a problem. They guarantee that the ticket (wristband) will be real. I have also learned if you buy your ticket (if not sold out by then) 3 weeks before bonnaroo they are cheap! i paid 190 +30 fee last year!
So since each wristband is registered, what does that mean if you buy one off of someone else and your name won't match up with the one the wristband is registered to? Or could the other person just sell their wristband as unregistered once it arrives?
I bought by wristband off of stubhub last year and it was a big concern for me as well (I bought it late, and they shipped them late so I was cutting it close as it was). As soon as I got it, I went on the Bonnaroo website and registered it. I got an email that said it was registered. That was it, and I wasn't sure because I couldn't check it, so I was worried until we actually got to the toll booth, they scanned it, and said my name. I think as long as you get that email saying you registered it, you're in the clear. Still, you're running a risk. I don't know why someone would register their wristband and then sell it, and I'm not sure if there's a remedy for it either. But you can always just go as that person I guess, I don't remember them checking IDs at the tollbooth.
Wow, I checked on my lunch break and they had 600+ tickets available, I hope they are legit, I could only imagine 600 angry people at the tollbooth!!!!
The ticket is for my cousin, last year we went to bonnaroo but he left Saturday morning because he was too tired cause he had been working two jobs, and now he was laid off from one and I was trying to get him a ticket cause now his money is tight and so is mine. I just bought a camper ($1500) a generator ($350), 2 Bonnaroo tickets for me and my gf ($269 x2), a RV Companion Pass ($225) and some fixes to the camper ($500). Last year I seen tickets for as low as $175 plus shipping, so I'm just trying to go a cheaper route to for my cousin.

Ahhhh, yea that makes total sense if you can get them for cheaper. I didn't look at the prices and were assuming that they were at least face value but if you can snag a cheaper pair go for it. I've never got Roo tix off stubhub but I know some people on here have gone that route.
stub hub is so legit. I've used them for years. They have the protection too if you get fraud tix they get you in the show with new tix. Easily the best scalp site in my opinion.
