Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
My husband is about your size plus 15 years, and this is our third roo. We tent camped our first year in 2008, and we were pretty miserable. My husband barely slept ... He used his cpap machine hooked up to a battery and it was hot and we needed more comfy bedding. We still had a great time but were exhausted! In 2009, we took his parents' camper and had an awesome time. However, our generator broke on Thursday so we couldn't run the AC but it wasn't too hot. Fortunately our neighbor in the monstrous RV let us hook up to him so my husband could run his cpap machine. I must check into this new policy they have ... We also walked daily to prepare ... We're not up to daily yet this year but we have started walking. Cool cloths on the neck help. My poor husband is also a ginger so the sun is NOT his friend. A hat and sun screen are necessities.
I just want to say one more thing. You should be proud that you are not letting your weight keep you from going out and doing the things you want to do. For years I didn't go to Bonnaroo because I was sure I was too fat, or too old, or too square....I regret that and life's too damn short for regrets.
Thank you!!! I've wanted to do Bonnaroo for the past decade but always was scared. I turned 30 this year and realized life is too short for me to wait any longer. I am going to Bonnaroo, I am going to make friends and I am gonna feel like I am king of the world.
I've decided to take a small twin bed mattress since I am coming by myself and with no one else in the tent/car I will have plenty of room.
Now I need a pop up/ez up and some coolers and then the misc stuff and I am ready!
Bonnaroo!
Rolling Solo has its ups and downs. We have a big group going this year and will have a pretty rocking set-up(I get excited and pack for like 2 weeks before Roo). Your welcome to kick it at our place during the day before shows or see some shows with us.

Someone might have already suggested it, but I would get one of these. Well, I actually have one of these, so I can vouch that it makes life a little more comfortable. It is tall and bulky, but holds up to 600 lbs. You could put some sheets on it. My suggestion would be to just sleep under an ez up and skip the tent.

I can't wait to be back on the farm! #radiate positivity
Just want to weigh in and say I QUACKING LOVE YOU MAN! Bonnaroo is a marathon, but one you can take at your own pace. I'm bigger(lady of 5'3 and 230) and in poor health in a number of ways and Roo does come with its challenges, but they're all worth it! You should meet up at Walmart beforehand with us and get in line together. Bonnaroo is amazing alone but even better with friends who get it!
This is YOUR life and YOUR roo -- don't be threatened by the limitations and fears others like to impose on us!

Just bought this bad boy. I'm 6'2" 240 (hope to be more like 230 by 'Roo) so most other cot options were borderline on whether they would hold up. My back was killing me by the end of the weekend last year, hoping this thing will curtail that a bit.
