So, my sister always comes to roo with us but this year her boyfriend found out he has to work until friday at 5pm. They already bought tickets and now they are contemplating not going. I'm doing everything in my power to convince them for her to ride with us and him to drive up after work friday. The question is, will they still be parking people to camp late friday/early saturday? He'd just be parking and then walking to our campsite. Didn't know if anybody else has ever done this for a friend who was arriving late. Thanks!!
He shouldn't have a problem entering, and there won't be much of a line, if any. And if he's just parking and walking to your campsite he can always just park in day parking.

but, he'd be there until Sunday, so would day parking work?

I'm not familiar with day parking, but he could also just park where they direct him and he might be closer to where he's going or even get a much better campsite than the one the rest of the group gets, if that makes any sense. Yet another option, which was my first instinct when I read that he had a job that wasn't allowing him off for Bonnaroo...quit.

haha, he's a firefighter and they just sprung these dates on him, he needs em to move up. Hate he'll miss the first two days though.
In 2010 I got to the farm around 3 PM on Friday. They parked me in line with other people who were just then arriving. I ran down a taxi and hauled my tent to camp with my friends who were already there. They had already brought everything else I needed...
