I'm staying at the Embassy Suites this year (I know - a lame hotel attendee... first time trying it since a friend of mine couldn't use her package due to work obligations). Anyone else staying here?
I received my tickets in the mail with a VIP upgrade. How does this work when going the hotel route? Do they upgrade at the hotel?
Also, does anyone know when the earliest is that I can arrive on Thursday at the hotel for their shuttle and for check-in? I've looked at all of the information on the Roo website about hotels... as well as previous threads on this board but haven't found a lot of information about logistics. Thanks for any info.
Did you purchase an official Bonnaroo travel package? The company that does it all is Target Sport Adventures, their contact information is on their website here: www.targetsport.com/. Although I don't know the answer to your question, I know they will be more than helpful if you contact them.
It was purchased through their website - thanks for the help. I will post their information once I hear back from them (in case anyone else is wondering the same).
If it's the ES in Murfreesboro then I'm familiar with it. I usually stay there the Wednesday night before Roo. It's about a thirty/forty minute drive to the venue from there. I've never taken a shuttle but in general it's a nice hotel and they'll take good care of you, I've seen plenty of artists staying there that Wed night. In general Hilton hotels allow for a 3:00 PM check-in time, if you're HHonors then earlier. Since you have reservations I would call and request an early check-in. Just ask the hotel concierge what they can do for you. Worst case scenario you could leave your gear with the bell hop early in the AM, get on the shuttle, go to Roo and then check-in to your room that night when you get back. Have fun.
Thanks for the info. I might have to do that the first night (or leave my stuff in my car until I return late that night). I've heard they usually do a 2-3 AM shuttle at night so that should work out great (except for my ambition of seeing Animal Collective late-night). I'm glad you responded because I was curious how the hotel was...
