I thought this was a great addition. I missed their set last year but caught them a month later at Vibes and loved the show. Any guesses as to who the special guests might be? I don't really think it's realistic by any means, but Jack Johnson would be pretty cool.

I came across this looking up Nicki Bluhm... she plays in a country music cover band composed of her husband and members of the jam band ALO. it's probably this.
Love ALO. I really wish that Jack Johnson will show up.
I also would like to see this:
A couple of years ago my fiancé and I and I volunteered with "All at Once" (Jack Johnson's environmental campaign). He joined ALO and invited all the kids on stage to dance.
Long way about it. I second the hope that Jack is there also.

I saw ALO at All Good last year and I swear I walked away with a new favorite band (for a few months following the show, anyway.) Since the addition, I've had all my friends listening to them too! Definitely an awesome live show! So much fun! I, too, would love to see Jack, but don't expect to at all. ;-) This year is just so exciting!

As many bands this year I just started listening to them since the lineup(additions). This is going to be one of my top shows. I just love how funky some of their songs are.

I'm certain the guests will be Nicki Bluhm, Tim Bluhm, Deren Ney, Dave Mulligan, and Ryan Montbleau Band. Ron Johnson could be there, but will not be needed because Steve is there with NB&Gs. And I wouldn't put too much into Jack Johnson joining them, that would be a long shot. This set should be absolutely amazing. The possibilities are ENDLESS. I'm so jealous of everyone who gets to see this..
Been going through music... any idea of what a usual setlist from ALO might look like? setlist.fm isn't really any help. and all i've gathered so far is they will probably play girl i wanna lay you down
Awesome and Awesome! That is the best setlist I've seen for them recently thanks! I would love to see "Wasting Time" added to this as it is my favorite. But overall LOVE IT. So glad they are rocking a ton of their new songs. I am 12 outta 10 excited

Looking at that Brighton setlist, they played some tunes with Ryan montbleau. He's got a cafe set Friday, so he's a possible guest. Nicki bluhm for sure, I would think. I think jack Johnson is kinda wild speculation and highly improbable.

edit: not impossible though, id give it a 2 % chance.

I'm glad I didn't read this thread for a few days before Roo, becauase I went into this with the mentality that it would be incredible if Jack sat in, but it wasn't even remotely likely. It was still a huge surprise to see Jack in a tent on Thursday from 20 ft away.
