There's a pretty good chance that the secret show on Friday night will be She & Him. They have official tour dates scheduled for the 13th, 15th and 16th, but not the 14th. On top of that, they're performing in Nashville on the 13th.
Pretty sure the Nashville show means they can't legally play roo. Some 100 mile radius and 14 rule or something like that.
I still don't think there's any possible way they leave this empty. I think it may be a surprise set that's in the schedule for when we get down there. I can't figure out a reason why they wouldn't have SOMETHING there. I hope it's something jam band based. I know Umphrey's is off that weekend, and would love to see them on the farm (yet again). I mean, you may be right, but I'm still holding out hope. Maybe they announce something that can give them one last push for tickets. They still haven't announced a sell out. I hope I'm right. Either way, one week from right now, I will be on my way down to the Farm, and I couldn't be happier!

I wouldn't get your hopes up - people said the same thing about Which Stage on Friday last year, and those who came for the unannounced Atoms for Peace late night got a prime spot for an empty stage. If Umphrey's were playing, Umphrey's would've been announced.
To the best of my knowledge, there's never been a completely unannounced show at Roo before. The biggest last-minute surprise I can recall is Jimmy Buffett in '09, who was announced about a week beforehand.

This. If they would leave a stage empty all night, there's zero reason why they wouldn't leave a tent empty all night. I'd be all for something surprising, but I think people are just setting themselves up for disappointment.

If anything happens in That Tent, it will be involving someone already on the lineup or someone closely affiliated. At this point, though, I'm not expecting anything there. They will probably just have another parade/pop show somewhere else.

Not trying to be rude or anything, but Buffet was announced on Wednesday...1 day before the festival started. I remember being in the Wal-Mart parking lot and checking the website on my phone and seeing it announced there

They'll do something...but I'm not banking on them using the tent. Could just be different surprise shows or parades going on. Or maybe trying something new.
I also don't see any way they add a major act like Beck this late in the game. They would have added him months ago. And Juggs is right on Buffett. He was added late in the game because they'd already booked acts he was affiliated with in some way.

yup - go to twitter.com/bonnaroo and click on the shadow of an head next to the follow button. there will be an option that says 'turn on mobile notifications'. click on that and they'll start being sent as texts.

Didnt they kick back Pretty Lights a little from the original schedule? Maybe in between the End of Wu-Tang it will give every1 the option of the extended ZZ Top set or the surprise they got in the works. Maybe end it around 1:45(15 min into PL and PR sets) or 2:00 (AnCos). If they do it during the Wu/ZZ/Wolfgang conflict thats just wrong. PL or AnCo are gonna stretch till sunrise so I wont have to worry about catching one of their sets during the busier part of the night. I missed the parade as well I never really carry my phone around centeroo.
Either way, one week from right now, I will be on my way down to the Farm, and I couldn't be happier!
