Since I won't be involved much until Monday i'm gonna go ahead and put my vote on tejas. Given the two choices tejas seems more mafia like (defensive/getting called out by LD).

I think I acted like any othe townie would have acted if called out in day 1. I didn't answer emotionally, but simply tried to use logic.
And I really don't see how I'm more suspicious than LD especially since he hasn't came in here since he called me out. Isn't that strange.
Day 1 your odds of killin a townie are much higher than killing a mafia member. And it's very possible that LD is a townie just like me so either way a townie will be killed. So just ask yourself, who' seems MORE mafiaish? My defensive "logical" rebuttals? Or LD's erratic behavior that clearly doesn't favor the town?

I wondered about that too... there were other players with no votes. I'm not picking on you with this post BlackAmy, but I was curious why you singled him out over say, ellabelle or Linana. or even me, since I also had a vote from Tejas initially but it was then retracted/moved. do you suspect Phi of being mafia? since you mentioned him having no votes and being quiet (which certain people seem to believe points to mafia)?
Like I said, I was curious. I'm used to Phi being very talkitive, so him not saying much was different to me. If I thought he was Mafia I would have changed my vote to him. I didn't mention you or Linana because you two have been talking a lot.

I'd really like to hear from some of the others, but at the moment, my gut is telling me Tejas is more likely, and inadvertently, being set up as a patsy than mafia. If he was mafia, where is the other mafia who should be coming out of the woodworks to point us in other directions? If he's a townie, wouldn't the mafia stand back and let him keep digging his own grave with all his suspicious activity?
The latter is what it feels like to me is happening here. Which is why, for now, my vote is Linana >> LD
And Tejas, if I'm right and you are a townie, you might want to tone down your defensiveness a little because it is definitely coming off as suspicious (as was your vote stacking "mistake", but I guess I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt on that one). If I'm wrong and you are mafia, well, well played.

Last night I went to bed a little after 10. I work 6:30 to 5 usually, though I only had a half day today due to lack of work. Odd how Thursdays are slow, when it's right before the weekend.
I'm not sure I understood that whole thing LD, but I get the gist of it and appreciate the response. here are my thoughts right now. either: 1. LD is mafia and trying to divert suspicion by pointing to Tejas 2. Tejas is mafia and trying to divert suspicion by posting a lot 3. they are both mafia working together, and have decided that one of them will be sacrificed in order to leave the remaining one free of suspicion.
this game is making my head hurt (but in a mostly good way).
So in Day 1, we really have nothing much to work with. Sometimes I get bored, like to go crazy, put on some gangsta rap and see where it takes me. Usually it means ebonics, drug dealing, murders, and the occasional Islamic reference thrown in the mix. I ended up calling out Tejas, and I can't even remember why (if there was a reason at all) I did it. Get everyone all stirred up and see what happens as a result of it.
Town, you couldn't get a three person runoff out of this? Jesus H Christ we're all at a disadvantage already. If the Mafia is sitting back thinking it's ok to have a two person runoff as a result of Day 1 - we completely fucked this one up. In the end, not only did NOTHING happen - but the Mafia probably got two of us taken out at the same time. They must have been sitting back laughing, calling me a f*cking idiot - much like LLL/Jimmy/myself were last game as Mafia calling Viking an idiot when he was stirring everyone up and in the wrong direction.
Now I been playing this game a lot, and finally was Mafia in the last game. Was pretty interesting to come from that perspective. So let me help you new folks out and show you how things really work.

LD, if I learned anything from reading last game, you are one sneaky SoB..But I do agree that Day 1 is probably not going to pit off two mafia against each other in a runoff, based on sheer probability of getting a mafia kill the first day as well as the mafia having more advantage for manipulation early on. Tejas' style just puts him in a hard to read spot, and while my vote is on him, I may be wrong.
I really wouldn't be surprised if there is a newbie thrown in the mafia mix this game, or maybe two. Would mean that one of the experienced, usually more vocal players would have a lot of coaching on their plate. Just a thought anyway.
I'm quiet because really the only time I can read this thread is at work. And when I'm at work, I dont have time to make lots of posts, or even long thought out posts. I keep my insights to myself for the most part, that is how I have always played Mafia.

I been three years in a row, I'll be back another year. Just need to get money for life stuff right now. Though I am going to MOEMS, saving bits and pieces to be able to go then.
I guess my vote is going for LD. My only reason is because he's just been silly for most of the time, but Tejas is actually making valid reasons and trying to explain himself. Or, that could just be the complete opposite.
Clearly I talked myself into the runoff. I don't think the mafia had to do very much but sit back and watch me dig my own hole. If I get voted out then it's by my own doing. I hope the players who voted for me can see that. Regardless if I make it to day 2 I will have to rethink the way I play.

Voting will close tomorrow at 4PM. That is 24 hours from now, but less than the standard 36 hours. If need be, I will extend it, but I want to start moving into Day 2 over the weekend if possible. If we can't, no big deal.

Ok so just to get this straight I'm getting voted off because...
A)I posted too much, even though I never tried to influence votes just asked questions which is exactly what townies are suppose to do. So not sure how I come across as suspicious... Seriously read my posts only when LD called me mafia is when I made any kind of ripples.
B) I vote stacked boneroo for about an hour then switched my vote. Which I've said numerous times was a overlook. (And btw boneroo has his vote on LD)
And now
C) LD would never do what hes done in this game if he were mafia.
Even though theirs flaws in all three of reasons Reason (C) has to be the worst.
LD did a phenomenal job as a mafia member last game. So good in fact that he won the game last round by having everyone think the same way Phi is thinking.
Keep in mind that LD was mafia with Jimmyroo and LLL
There's just something off about LLL's posts, like she's playing stupid at times. But I don't think that necessarily means she's Mafia. I would put a few other people ahead of her on the suspects list. Hell, I can't make heads or tails on what the f*ck Viking does... ever.
These two fighting have done more to dictate this game than anyone else. I will say though, LLL has been playing really weird and suspicious.
