Hi I wasn't sure where to find this specific question so I just thought I'd ask, I've got a group of 7 people this year and we are taking 2 different vehicle.
Now, to the actual question, is having both of our vehicles needing to be parked next to each other a hassle?? Or is it as simple as telling the staff that your with another car???
Sorry if this was already somewhere on here, just wanted to know.

Thank you and good day!
I've had a clueless parking volunteer not let me park next to the car with me (it only happened one time).... I parked there anyway, got out of my car and yelled at him until he just gave up and walked away
Just remember the parking people are volunteers without any actual authority, keep it simple and just explain to them what you are going to do and then go do it before they have time to think about it.

Yep I tried being nice and using reason. When that didn't work, I went into Mom mode and scared him

Yup. Their idea of lining off spaces last year was great, but it became hard to execute after the sun went down. The RV in front of us got directed to park too close to the RV before them because that was where the volunteer thought the line was. A guy in the RV tried to quietly explain that they needed to move a few feet to the side because they were too close to fit their RV's awning. The volunteer said there was nothing he could do because that is where the line was. The woman driving the RV then told him that she was going to be backing the RV up and moving to the side a few feet and she gave zero f*cks about what he had to say about it so he best move out of the f*cking way. The volunteer then adjusted us accordingly to fit the larger space the first RV just got.

I've often wondered how productive this kind of approach would be if a volunteer was clearly being unreasonable. Policy's all well and good, but the situation on the ground is what it is. I guess it's a YMMV thing, Plan Z and all that.
RVs being too close together is also a safety hazard due to generator exhaust -- wonder if the volunteers would be receptive to that line of reasoning.

I think that is what the guy was trying to do. They were seriously too close to extend their awning which is a problem for an RV especially if that was all of what they were planning on using for shade. The woman only flipped sh*t after they turned down the guy's logic. I do know that some print out the rules to bring with them in case a volunteer tries to not allow them to do something that is allowed in the rules.

Good suggestion. Yeah, I already printed off a copy of the alcohol rules to bring with us after hearing about a couple of possible confiscation scams. The rules say an RV is supposed to fit into a 20' X 50' space, so I'll probably print that one as well.

Last year parked just behind the line. We got in around 3am after driving all day and finally tried to get a little sleep after setup and then the cops on horses came through and told someone to wake us up and then they made us move our car up a few feet which resulted in completely unstaking our tent and moving it. I just can't believe they woke us up for it.
Please treat the Bonnaroo volunteers that make your weekend possible with respect.
It may sound harsh, but after trying reasonably to explain why I need to park next to my friends, and having some kid tell me it doesn't work that way and to park my damn car, I have no respect. I am ALWAYS polite and nice to people, until they piss me off. If you are going to volunteer, take the time to learn how the parking situation works, be flexible and nice, and remember that WE are the paying customers. I don't have respect for someone who is just there for the free ticket and doesn't care about doing their job in a way that keeps everyone happy.

Yeah, the first line is always to be respectful especially when the volunteer is doing the same, but if they continue when they are in the wrong, things will eventually go south. Using the RV example, I would not go without shade outside the RV for the weekend just because they are trying to shove my RV in too close to the nearest RV.
