Hey folks!
I'm trying to save costs wherever I can so I plan on trying to bring most of my food, but of course I'm flying in so it's proving to be a bit tricky. I know there's others of us out there who're making food and bringing it in, I figured I'd ask, any good recipes?
Anyone else haev suggestions on other things that are yummy, not too heavy, and can manage a flight to Nashville? (though really yummy is by far the most important criteria)
To follow in the theme: mexican chocolate no-bake cookies. I made them for the first time last night and they are AMAZEBALLS.
Follow this recipe, but add dashes of cinnamon, cayenne pepper and chili powder when you add the cocoa. I used dark chocolate cocoa powder, but I think it would work just as well with the regular cocoa powder. Seriously addictive.
EDIT: To make them more plane-worthy, roll them into balls. The balls are hardier than the regular drop cookies.
I am hoping for the first time bring eggs for egg sandwich breakfast. We are doing dry ice this year so hopefully will have a cold cooler till Sat. morn.
