Does anyone just walking into the fountain fully clothed? I'm not really comfortable walking around in a bathing suit, since I've got some extra poundage. I really need to get over that sometime soon...
Also, since I'll be alone, I won;t feel comfortable leaving my stuff unattended to frolic around.

People do go in clothed... keeps the clothes nice, cool, and damp for like 20 minutes... I mean, as long as you're cool getting all of your stuff drenched... I would find a friend to head there with (maybe from brunch?) that way you don't have to bring your stuff in.

I've never changed into a suit to go in. Just walked in with whatever I have on. I find that most people in the fountain are fully clothed.

I am a hard core germaphobe. I don't touch door handles, other people's phones, shopping carts etc. But for some reason at Roo I'm all up in the fountain. It's weird. That being said...I most definitely keep my eyes and mouth closed while in the fountain. It's just too hot NOT to be drawn to water.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.
It's my first time at Bonnaroo and I was really looking forward to the fountain. Now I'm kind of afraid of the fountain. But I've probably swam in sketchier things then the fountain, like that "lake" behind my aunts house in NC.

The fountain is great to cool off at. I jump in, get soaked, then move on to the next show. I'd rather be comfortable in dirty water than exhausted by heat and sweat.
I went in the fountain in 11 and maybe it was a bad hour cause I reeked of urine and the smell of my self was getting to me. It is def recycled water you can tell when the water starts coming out the top brown. They filter it to a certain point then after that certain point turn it off to refill the tanks so its a little bit of new water and recycled water. If you catch it when it first comes back on its super clean and awesome.

This^^
If you're gonna do it, do it early. Picked up one of these guys for some sweet fountain pics.
It's one of the first things in Centeroo I go by to check out and have a splash before the water gets too dirty. I also like to take friends attending for the first time there for their 'bonnaroo baptismal'.
