I was fortunate enough to score a friends and family ticket through a friend of a friend who works for SuperFly. Does anyone know exactly what that ticket type is, the benefits, and what it includes? Just trying to prepare! Thanks...8 Days!

Not really sure. Maybe ask the friend of a friend who may know? I assume it gets you some kind of perks/access that regular attendees may not get. Possibly a different camping area? Anyone else had one of these before?

Hmmm...there are various levels of passes that are given out (That Pass, Infinity Pass, etc.) with various levels of benefits, but that's a little different from a ticket. If they described what you're getting as a ticket, it sounds to me like it might just be the wristband equivalent of a comp ticket - in which case it unfortunately wouldn't get you anything. I had a comp ticket one year when I bought one from Stubhub.
We actually paid for GA tickets and then get "upgraded" to Friends and Family when we get there. Maybe they did use the term "pass". I can't remember. I guess I'll find out when I get there.
It is a guest pass. The guest camping is behind the which stage in the woods. You get some nice perks and shaded camping. Not as rowdy as GA but very nice to have a shaded spot.
Guest is a wonderful fun pass!!! I've had it a few times myself! There is super close camping behind one of the main stages, and leads to all of the fun winding roads backstage. So you might pass by bands. It used to be easy to try to sneak into the artist area to meet the bands, but the last two years, or maybe it was last year, they installed machines that you have to swipe your wrist on. It's crazy hard now to get anywhere without a legit pass. But you do, so enjoy it.
You can go side stage for concerts, and on the smaller stages, once the show is over you can wander backstage. Just be cool with security and you'll be good. There is a nice food area for guests and media that has cooked meals, booze, etc. Always look out for the free stuff. Have fun. Super jealous. This will be my seventh roo in a row and I don't even have a ticket yet, and more than likely it will be GA. I can't imagine not being able to do all of the fun stuff I used to do

It's a known fact that the guest ticket gets you special camping, but does that mean you have to buy an extra camping pass or is that included with the ticket/pass?
