Hello, everybody. I am not actually attending Bonnaroo, but I will be assisting a friend of mine with food service outside the gates. Would anyone be able to tell me what that scene is like? Apparently there is some off-site stuff happening across the road--some sort of marketplace? Food and crafts? Is anyone familiar with such?
I would specifically like to know if what the location of this is. I've been told that it is "right outside the gate" which would mean probably the tollbooth closest to the day parking, maybe? Any clues?
Creaky talk to your friend. Ask them if they're in the camp grounds. If so, you'll have a vendor wristband. If not, you'll sell stuff until Thursday and pack up. Once people are in the campgrounds they don't leave (99% at least).

Your probably talking about the "fuze Waffle House". Apparently there's a Waffle House across from roo that fuze is taking over and doing all kinda of stuff with. Live music, free food and so on...

He can and will. While I was waiting, I was just hunting around to see what kind of buzz there was about this, and apparently it is not a thing that this representative sample of Bonnaroovians seem to know much about. I've done google image searches and other kind of searches and information is a little hard to come by. It's the sort of thing I'm known to do about business opportunities, so I just thought I'd register and ask. Seems like a lot of people in the know, here.
I got a clue (thanks, lucidity), and that's something else I can use in my sleuthing. Thanks again!
The people along bushy branch are always so happy and the food and drink prices are always cheap. I bought four ice cold bottles of water for $4 from a 10 year old who flashed a peace sign.
There's quite a bit of commerce along Bushy Branch. There's even a house that offers cheap camping with real bathrooms and showers. It's close enough I could consider it. If you're in Pod 11, why not right outside the gates?
But I think Bushy Branch (far east) gate is the least busy, so I question how much $$$ you'll make.
I used the restroom at someone's house on Bushy Branch Rd a couple years ago. They were selling drinks and small snacks if I remember right. But this was just people doing it at their home. It doesn't really sound like that's what he is talking about though.

It costs big money to get in as a food vendor at Bonnaroo and other festivals like it. This was a last minute opportunity for my friend, and is not costing as much. I finally got the details. Apparently there is a LOT of camping on Bushy Branch, that is actually outside the fence. Look for the wood-fired pizza oven!
