I couldn't find a thread on this so I decided to start one.
I know bonnaroo has their list of things you can bring into centeroo, but in past years I've gotten in with things that aren't on the list, even when the guy searching me picked the not allowed object up and looked at it. My main concerns are getting in with my nose spray and rash ointment, two things I really need in centeroo. I'm also concerned about getting in with some protein drinks and v8 energy drinks. From everyone's past experience, what do you think my chances are of getting in with these things? Oh yeah,, I do plan on putting my v8 and protein drinks in plastic water bottles.

As long as its sealed, it shouldn't be a problem. But like the above poster said. It's a 50/50, I've walked through with an open red bull in my hand and they didn't say a word, other times I'd have an open water bottle and they'd make me empty it out.
Last year I tried to bring in a Red Bull that wasn't open and they made me either chug it or throw it away. My buddy tried to bring in a powerade that wasn't open and they gave him the same treatment.

again, if it is meds in a container (i.e. Tylenol, Goody's Headache Powders, itch cream etc. etc.) I have never had a problem getting them in. Just show them up front.

Will they make me empty out my Camelbak if it is full? I thought I heard something about them changing that policy?
As others have said, they instituted the sniff test rule last year, but I seem to remember one or two people saying security told them to dump it.
As far as drinks go, I have walked in before with two water bottles full of Kool Aid before several times while they have made tons of people dump them, drink them or toss them. It just depends on the security person.
I brought migraine meds in last year and only once did they even open the pill bottle they were in. The guy who did open was stupid though and asked me what the thing that makes them stay fresh was.
Before you actually get in one of the lines to be searched, stop and watch the people searching bags. There is always at least one guy who is either tired/hot or just doesn't give a quack what you got. Pick that guy and you will be golden!
