I feel like for most of us, once you've got a Roo or two under your belt, you start approaching each Roo with a bit of a laundry list in the back of your mind of your goals for that year's Roo.
So, what are your Roo Year's Resolutions this year? Is this going to be the year you finally ride the ferris wheel? Visit the Silent Disco? Jump in the fountain? Eat an arepa? Tell us what's on your to do list at Roo!
"A man's at odds to know his mind cause his mind is aught he has to know it with. He can know his heart, but he dont want to. Rightly so. Best not to look in there." -Cormac McCarthy
Last year was my first, here's a couple of things that I will do:
- Get an arepa & spicy pie - Have a schedule/preferred shows (even if I don't follow it, I found a lot of new music I love going through the lineup this year) - Wander more (I won't feel the need to stick so closely with our group of friends as last year) - Sleep after setting up camp Wednesday night
Things I might do if I get around it:
- Silent Disco - Catch a movie in the cinema tent (got a couple I'd like to see, but music comes first for me)
My 4th Roo and I'm planning on catching more Bands than I have in the past. I Want to hit some of the late night shows and looking forward to Brunch / meeting lots of Inforoosters. Over all, I want to get the most out of this years festival that I can.
Brunch!!! Every year I say I'm gonna go but you know how that works at Bonnaroo! This year we're buying extra beer and coming to mingle with you fine folks for sure.

Eating more vendors besides Prater's and grilled cheese Watch something in the Cinema Tent Adult Swim thing Maybe finally ride the Ferris Wheel (it's too damn expensive)
this will be my seventh year in a row, so I gotta say, every year has gotten insanely better. and when I go, I live it UP!!!!!!! I have had every pass except the infinity pass and I swear, ONE day I will get one!!! agh!!!
but in reality, this year, I will finally attend the beard and mustache contest. I am obsessed with beards, I have a blog about lumberjacks (which is basically a beard porn site!) and I have YET to go to the contest. I swear, this year, i'm gonna meet the man of my dreams heehee
I've never walked in/explored the campgrounds. The 2 years I've gone, I either did VIP or went directly from BFE on a taxi with my sh!t to tent only. I've never ventured out beyond the area directly surrounding centeroo! Never seen shakedown, never had a campground grilled cheese, heck, never even seen a campground vendor in general.
this is my 3rd roo. i will finally do the silent disco this year, first year volunteering, and will probably be my first years in the comedy and cinema tents!!

^^^Same Doug G. I have every intention of catching The Rocky Horror & the Reno 911 Druq Safety talk in the Cinema and Bob Saget in the comedy tent. Both uncharted territory for me.

Look for the Viking horns in the cinema tent during Reno 911/Rocky HPS

This will be the first year I've watched all of the Sunday headliner. I usually leave before or partway through it. I saw all but half an hour of DMB, but only because we were waiting on the Access taxi for my friend and it took forever.

Every year I do get more into planning. The more you go the better you get at accomplishing what you want. I'm going to the comedy tent for the 1st time. But I'm still not getting into the fountain. Maybe I'll do the slide or Ferris wheel this year. It's easy to get busy and stray from your plan.

This will be my second 'Roo and hopefully not my last. I hope to meet more people, relax more, and do the exact opposite of what I'd normally do in my everyday life...

How much is it to ride the Ferris wheel?
I think it's $7?
I could be wrong though, because this year my roo'solution is to go on the ferris wheel!!
Also, I can't believe so many people haven't been to the Silent Disco. It's one of my most favourite parts. (Although I'm sure the same could be said of my lack of ferris wheeling.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.

To break my "full set" record, which is currently at 16. Also, to break my "total count of sets" record, which is currently at 27. (If I'm only there for a couple songs, I don't count it-- have to be there for at least half to count as a partial set)

Also, to be on the rail for Weird Al.
Breaking my full set record too! I think I can get up to 18 but the 3 1/2 hour gap from the end of Björk the start of the rock and soul dance party kills. But I got to be under the tent for this one preferably up close. I do have some time slots for additional sets but will probably just wander around.
