Hey all,
I am looking to buy an inexpensive battery-powered dock that will accommodate my android phone (through an aux cable) and my ipod so that we can listen to some tunes around camp. Any suggestions? Cheap and loud enough to be audible by 4-5 people is the standard. Any help would be appreciated. Also, if you know of places where these items are sold, (I'm a midwesterner so Best Buy, Walmart, Target, etc. are all in the picture) it would be greatly appreciated.
If you have any power tools all power tool brands make radios and run off the batteries for the tools. I use a Ryobi radio with an Aux cord. It is crazy loud. I also buy Ryobi battery operated fans that run off the same 18V batteries that radio runs off of.
They are only sold at home depot. links are below to what I was talking about. The fans are awesome and keep you cool at night. the 3 of us in my group each have on and i bring about 15 batteries so we have one pointing at each of us as we sleep. It helps us sleep in a little bit, maybe till 830am....

Bose soundlink is kinda expensive but pretty kickass for the size. Super portable. You can buy a car charger for it too. Perfect for lounging at a Roo campsite!
