This Thursday is the last of the Pier Six Pavilion (in downtown Baltimore) shows for the season, and it's a doozy.... Cake. Anyone else going? And when I imply that I'm going, I don't mean I shelled out a ridiculous $40, I mean that I'm gonna sit on the the opposite side of pier seven and watch for free.

Yeah, I didn't end up going either. First, I was too tired, and second I sprained my ankle on Monday*, so I wasn't really up to walking from the light rail stop at the Convention Center all the way to Pier Six. Oh well. Now I have my eyes on The Notwist with Dosh opening at the 9:30 Club on October 15th. Tickets are cheap. Any takers?
*I did it playing ultimate frisbee so I still feel cool.
Hey folks, I live in downtown Baltimore, and I've already got my tickets for this year. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.
Side note: I've got four tickets to Tea Leaf Green at 9:30 Club on January 24th. Unforeseen circumstances have arisen, and it looks like I may have to give them away. Anyone interested?
Were coming for the first time this year from the Lynchburg area. Any advice on directions? We are leaving Wed. and want to get a hotel somewhere for the night about 1-2 hours outside. Any suggestions? Anyone else coing from around here?
im leaving from maryland. its my fourth roo. its a long drive from where i'm from and now that were not 21 year olds anymore, we stopping in asheville for a night to hit up the mellow mushroom
any1 planning on having room for an extra traveler.. i live about 30 miles south of winchester, va and would be able to meet you right off the exit of 283. i plan on packing pretty light and would gladly chip in for whatever gas money you need. if so pm me.

My and my 18 year old son are driving down in 31' RV leaving Richmond, VA on Wednesday, about noon, overnighting about 1/2 way and arriving at the ROO thursday about noon. Coming back on Monday.
I'm flying solo down to the Inforoo VIP crew, so if anyone thinks they might have space for one more, let me know.
P.S. I live on the s/w side of Baltimore near the beltway, also near I-95.
OK, second try. Plans with good old Garageland unfortunately fell through, so if there's anyone else who has an extra seat in your vehicle, I'm friendly and will give you lots of money for gas. PLEASE let me know!

Well, like him, I'm in Richmond. But I am doing Inforoo VIP... Leaving Wed sometime and crashing somewhere in Chattanooga.

gonna mix it up a bit this year... leaving Weds morning, around 9am, and gonna stay at a cheap ass motel on the way about 2 or 3 hours out around 9pm, sleep till 3am, get up hit the breakfast spot, and then hopefully make it inline around 6am.
