leaving today at 4pm from bham, stopping for dinner on the way and hope to be in line by 8:15 local time. hoping to see some updates early afternoon that confirms early entry for folks! that way by the time we get there, BFE is full
Rolling out of Indy around 7 tonight, hoping to be gone before the cool ranch derecho storm of the apocalypse hits. Finding productivity at this point to be difficult.

Yeah, we have been watching the Weather Channel all day. This monster is larger than I thought when I first posted this morning: could extend down to TN by the morning. I don't know what that means for our weather at Roo tomorrow. Maybe unexpected bad storms?
We have to drive through the heart of it (pretty much all the way through Ohio) tonight. I see no way around it. I hate torrential rain: makes for white-knuckle driving.
In the car now on the way from Minneapolis. We left at 2:30am and now we're approaching Kentucky. Had some wicked bbq in STL at Bogart's. As a Minnesotan let me express with the utmost emphasis that it is quacking warm as balls out here. I am gonna be dumping water on my head constantly

Stuck in rush hour traffic on 24 and got lightly rear ended by a semi. I'm in the back seat and I turn around and the thing is like 3 feet from my face and we're in this tiny Corsica. I look over and see another semi pouring out black smoke heading towards the ditch with a cop behind it. Fortunately we were going at a real slow pace
Currently sitting in traffic on 41 headed towards epps mill rd. slowed to a crawl, been this way for an hour or so. My guess is this is goin to take us back up to 24??? But with that wreck just mentioned, who knows.
