This will be my second roo, and I didn't go to the silent disco last year, I want to change that this year. Could someone explain to me how it works? For example I want to catch Passion Pits dj set (2:30 to 3:30). My questions include the following: Is their usually a line? Should I show up early? Can I leave early for Of Monsters and Men, can I just give my headphones to someone else and leave?
For something like that Passion Pit DJ set I would get there extremely, extremely early - and I'd still expect to stand in line. At least that would give you a chance of getting in for the whole set. I watched the Phish PT board's least favorite DJ, Wyllys, last year and had to stand in line for 30-40 mins and still was one of the last ones in before his set started. At that point, the wait becomes longer because they only hand out a set of headphones when someone takes them off and leaves. Last year was my first time in the silent disco in six previous trips strctky because of the long lines I'd previously witnessed.

For something like Passion Pit, there will be a line. However, if you want to go, there are several points during the 4 days where there is no line and you can just walk up. I walked straight in last year.
Turtles are, actually quite sexy, if you think about it. I’m getting an erection just thinking about turtles. No, not a stripper named turtles, that’s not funny. Actual turtles.
