So what is a good time to arrive? Gates open at 8 and I've heard it starts filling up from the back first? And how long should I expect to be sitting in traffic? Ahhh I'm just ready to be there already!!
Complete crap-shoot. This will be my 7th roo (5th in a row). Last year, I had to wait on a friend to get off work, so we didn't go in until Friday around 2:00 PM and were put in Camp Zoolander, but didn't have a wait at all. In 2011, we went in Wednesday night, but probably waited in line for around 4 hours and were put in Camp Pussy Galore. That was a TERRIBLE walk, so this year I'm going in Thursday, probably leaving my house around 9-10 AM. Granted, I only have a 20 minute drive to the farm, so I hope we'll have a better camping spot this year. Camp Zoolander wasn't a terrible walk, but I def could stand to be closer. The years before 2011 I volunteered, so I went in on Tuesday. In 2009, volunteer camping was where Camp The Geek is now, and that wasn't a terrible walk either.
