Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Here is your guide the the perfect Bonnaroo. I've been going every year since 07' and was taught by my fraternity brother that's been since the inception every year.
First I've memorized the mile marker that is about a mile from the I-24 exit. I drive to it then look for gaps and cut everyone. I then put on my breaks and let my caravan of about 8 cars get in front of me. THE PEOPLE YOU CUT DO NOT CAMP NEXT TO YOU. ALSO KARMA ISN'T REAL...WINNING IS THOUGH. The security gate splits everyone up and you wont park next to them anyway.
Also to get parked in the best campsite close to centeroo you need to get through security Thursday morning at about 4-6am. It's that easy...if you cut everyone you wont have a problem getting there on time.
Second I sleep in my 4runner. I put up a massive tarp that covers the whole SUV and lay the seats down in the back. Its about a twin size bed. The tarps keep the car cool until about 8-9am. Then I turn my car on (I fill up the gas tank as soon as I get to Manchester) and blast the AC and sleep comfortably until about noon. Everyone sleeping in a tent is up by 8am because of the scorching hot sun and wont be bothered by your car. Even if they are they are they wont do anything about it.
That's it. I wait in line about a half hour and sleep in my cool SUV until about noon. I recommend all do the same. I've kept this secret for years but now decided to share the wisdom. I will be hated but I can live with inforoo hating me. I sign into this board once a year prior to bonnaroo.
Phone Killer - for the tents I would wait for the act before the act I want to see to finish then walk into the front. Only works on the tents.
For which and what stage I bring in a wooden box drum and stand on it. Just let other people around you stand on it and no one will care you are towering over them.
If you're talking pit for phish and radiohead and whatnot good luck. I jumped the pit barrier for string cheese in 11' and that worked fine to but it's risky.

Thanks dude. Also, what's the best app to use to film sets on my iPad? I plan on getting nice and close for Tame Impala and filming the whole damn thing.
