I love finding new lossless sites and going through their entire collection looking for shows I have attended or shows I just plain and simple must have! I went though all of lossless legs in three days or so! I know, it's a curse.

make sure to download some popular new torrents and seed them to get your ratio up as the dime bonnaroo links are already old and many people have already gotten them and it will be difficult to seed out at a 25% ratio on the older stuff. I am seeding 17 bonnaroo torrents right now and have four torrents being drawn from with 10 leechers. It will be difficult to get your ratio up only seeding bonnaroo torrents. If you are one of the first to get in on a real popular torrent then everyone has to download it from you and the ratio goes up real fast. good luck.

Did anybody tape Macklemore? His set was surprisingly good and I hoped at least one person taped him. Or Kendrick Lamar? I had to leave Sunday so I missed Tom Petty and a few other people I really wanted to see /:

This is why I dislike dime's way of conduction business. They're living in the stone age as far as torrenting goes. Bandwidth isn't so much a problem anymore, it's all about seed time. They should implement some sort of bonus system that you can buy upload credit for seed time. I was late to the game last year, and ended up with a ratio of 0.10 after 3 months of seeding. I had to find the dime files this year on different sites, and then seed them on dime to get my ratio above 0.25 in order to download this year's torrents (which I'm now behind on some).
They also have this rule where you can't seed more than 20 torrents because "your bandwidth can't handle it." This must be left over from some archaic version of the BT protocol, because I'm currently seeding 700+ torrents (only 1-2 active at a time) and it uploads at the maximum bandwidth I've bought from my ISP.
It probably stems from the taping community's paranoia and exclusivity (with good reason, given the history), but it's such a stark contrast from the culture of most torrent websites nowadays.

ushmel you are right it is a tough way to get torrents. I had gotten a few older torrents (2 or 3) right when I got signed up, but I waited to get anymore until the bonnaroo stuff started to show up so I could get a good ratio up off the new stuff. It is what it is. now I'm at 49.14 GB uploaded with a ratio of 1.49. That should keep me in their good graces for a while.
That looks correct to me, Kev. Have you run torrents on that computer successfully before? It might be a firewall blocking torrent activity, windows firewall for example, but I feel that is unlikely. You should be able to just open it up and it should run without any issues.
youch @stratsg90, that sucks. Maybe try a different bittorrent program like utorrent. maybe delete the torrent file and try downloading it again and running it again. Good luck. let us know some more about your history with torrents so we can offer better advice.

Just seed like crazy man. I leave my laptop on overnight and while I am at work (all the time really) and my ratio went up a lot. I would try to help by downloading them again but there is no guarantee that I will get the files from you or that your ratio will increase. I also believe someone here (custeph possibly) said they just donated $20 and that got them a reprieve for a while. Donors still need to maintain a ration of .25 but it isn't checked as often so you get more time to get your ratio up. I am not sure what the donor enforcement cycle is.
also look for dime torrents on other sites and download them then download the dime torrent and send it to the other file you already downloaded from the other site.
here are two that are the same from bt.etree and dime
this may be a long drawn out process but you can probably find a whole bunch of dime torrents on other sites. kudos to ushmel for this idea. send them a PM and maybe they can get you a list of torrents from other sites to seed on dime since they already did a lot of the heavy lifting finding torrents that work. it might be a good idea to post some of them here for everyone with low ratios. that would be a great resource for a lot of people I think. anyways good luck.
I was me who donated. I donated $20 & become a VIP. My ratio was 0.02 (I know, I know), but I was able to start downloading again immediately. My ratio has gone up some too.

if you're having trouble keeping your ratio up, you might want to consider setting your torrent program to startup when you turn you computer on. that's what i do and 97% of the time i never notice it is there and i've never had a problem keeping a good ratio on any site. for example after a little over a week of seeding cults from this year, i have a 1.7 share ratio on that torrent. japandroids, which i finished 3 days ago, is at 1.01. the superjam is at 3.78 after 3 weeks!
It may be too late now but download something that just went up and should have some demand whether you want it personally or not. Since you can't download anything at the moment, another option might be to pick out a torrent and start downloading it so the folder/files are created then get someone else to send you those files by other means. It may require you to restart your torrent program but once you do so it should start seeding. A third idea is if you still have any of the shows on your pc specify that here and start sharing so a bunch of us can download them from you. If you know your ip address it will help us to download from you specifically.
it seems like people are still looking for Diane Birch from 2010 and I have that... I guess I'll post that and see if anyone goes for it. I did some more looking into my account and apparently my ratio has been too low for over a year. I'm surprised they haven't deleted the account. I must've messed up my ratio when I first made the account because I knew nothing about torrents at the time.
