Since you can't download anything at the moment, another option might be to pick out a torrent and start downloading it so the folder/files are created then get someone else to send you those files by other means. It may require you to restart your torrent program but once you do so it should start seeding.
Hey @stratsg90 I can help you out on this option. I got plenty of room to spare I'd be happy to download a happening torrent then send you the files via dropbox or some such. (yes, I'm also using this opportunity to shamelessly brag about my awesome ratio!)
A third idea is if you still have any of the shows on your pc specify that here and start sharing so a bunch of us can download them from you. If you know your ip address it will help us to download from you specifically.

Don't do that. MP3 is a lossy format, whereas flac is a lossless format, so converting from mp3 -> flac does nothing except make the files significantly larger. There's already been quality loss that can't be recovered.
Does anyone know how long dime was NOT accepting new members before the last acceptance period. I was without internet and missed the last one. Just trying to figure out how long til they accept new members again. Thanks guys!!
I listened to Glen Hansard yesterday. Impeccable in all ways. That show was easily #3 behind Paul and the Superjam for me, and the tape 100% confirmed that. So beautiful.

hello everyone! i gotta say i can't believe after 3 Bonnaroo's i've never been to this site. i guess better late than never though! This thread in particular is absolutely amazing. To all you tapers out there thank you for all your time and effort!
I was curious if there was anyway that someone could email me the dimeadozen shows that i cant get to because they are not accepting new members at this time i'd be willing to pay if needed. The shows are Alt-J, Wu-Tang Clan and the full audio of Sir Paul McCartney. I missed Wu-Tang to be in the pit for Paul and i'd really like to hear that set along with reliving Paul and Alt-J's full shows. If anyone is willing to help someone new out I'd greatly appreciate it.
I recently had a better idea that would help someone else instead of just myself. If anyone is interested in helping me out, I'd be willing to make a donation to the "Whoring for Whoreshack" campaign for mailed CDs/file transfers of shows I request. I wouldn't want to encourage anyone "selling" these recordings, but I figure there's no harm in trading for donations to a good cause.
