I've posted this on bonnaroo.great-karma.com/ but I thought I'd post something here too...
Monday morning, I left my D40 out in my campsite and it wandered off. Sometime between 4:00am and 5:30. It's easily recognized, since there's lime green duct tape holding the battery in place. The lens on it was a 35mm/1.8 nikon lens. Really, though, what I really care about is the memory card. It was the first Bonnaroo with all of my siblings present -- and I'm crushed about losing those photos. Have a few on a second memory card, but...
The thing is, the camera can't really be sold with the load-bearing duct tape holding it together so I'm hoping maybe the thief dumped it. If anyone saw a lump of a DSLR laying around, let me know. I'd love to get it back. And I'd especially love to have that memory card...
A small finders fee would gladly be given, and no questions asked. I'd just love to get it back. :/
Lost & found was extraordinarily helpful. I found a single handheld radio in between sets and tried to call the other radio to tell them I had it, but couldn't get through. So I walked it over to L&F to turn it in, and while I was there, a guy dug his cell phone out of the big box of cell phones they had. Joy, etc. But the cool part was that they had a gong hanging there, and anyone reunited with their property was invited/required to bang said gong. That guy whaled the hell out of it.

Yeah, I've listed it as missing with Lost and Found to no avail. It's really the memory card I'd love back most of all. (Note to future camera thieves: Could you please leave that behind. You don't want it. I do. Win-Win.)
To anyone else missing stuff: bonnaroo.great-karma.com/ is a good first start.
