Robocop and Bittersweet Poetry are both awesome break up songs.
I think Paranoid and Robocop in the center of 808's add some much needed fun to the album. If those tracks weren't there, it would be deadly serious and a much heavier album to listen to.

How much better would Two Words be if Freeway wasn't on it?
I hate his verse so much after Kanye and Mos kill it. And then it has the badass strings at the end like a freaking Gogol Bordello song. Freeway is the anchor on an otherwise flawless track.

I agree. I love the song still, but it would be better without Freeway.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
I'm honestly surprised New Workout Plan is on so many of these lists. I fucking love that song.
I mean, I couldn't tell you the last time I played that song. But I remember in High School being like "Ooooh girl yo breath is harsh, cover your mouth up like you got SARS!" and "All the mocha lattes, you gotta do pilates!"
I'm starting to feel like a bigger Kanye stan than anyone in this thread for the fact I enjoy all the songs people are saying they don't like.
Barry Bonds is kind of ehhh but I did like it when it dropped for what it was. Robocop is one of the best tracks on 808s IMO, and Drunk and Hot girls is fun.
The only Kanye song I really really really dislike is Gold Digger. It was so great that he didn't perform it when I saw him for the Yeezus tour, but I know he was on the second leg of the tour.

I actually don't like the outro much on Addiction. Wish that song was a minute shorter.
Also the Glory and Big Brother aren't that awesome either. The bonus tracks should have been on the official Graduation so it could open with Good Morning and close with Good Night imo.
As long as we're throwing out Kanye dislikes. Also Watch the Throne is only half good.

You remember when we were talking about Kanye songs we don't like... Yeah, blame game is up there.
when MBDTF first came out, i could not stand blame game, mostly because of chris rock. it was one reason i didn't consider it 10.0 (not that i'll argue with it getting that score) but now i listen to blame game and although i'm still not in love with the chris rock ending, i love the song. pretty emotional kanye and i love it.
Oh my god I can't handle seeing Devil in a new dress and hell of a life last, I love both those. And like I said I can listen to blame game it's just easy to skip for me but your right, that's probably due to the fact that I think pretty much every other song on the album is great and that ones just good in my opinion. So appalled and Blame Game would be my bottom two.

So has anyone listened to Cyhi's Black Hystori Project, Executive produced by 'Ye?
With all the talk of Kanye's followup being a more soulful Yeezus (with him pulling Q-Tip, along with Rick Rubin again), I imagine this is actually at least some bit of preview of what its production will be like.
I liked the production and didn't think the song was bad until it started doing the whole Nelson Mandela chant. Lol not that I have any problems with Nelson Mandela or anything.
I would like to say that this board is the only place I've ever encountered people that think All of the Lights is better than Lost in the World
Then this board must be better than I thought, because Lost in the World is pretentious Pitchfork fanboy bullshit. It's the kind of track people claim to think is brilliant in order to sound better than the people who prefer the pop songs.

I honestly don't even think they're close. I think "all of the lights" is way better but to each his own.

So if you are huge fan of Gil Scott-Heron and you see those last two tracks as homage to a massive influence to Kanye, that makes you a "pretentious Pitchfork fanboy" who is just posturing?
