Since Kanye is doing a Yeezus European tour this summer, what are the chances we get the Yeezus tour at Roo? I still don't see how it'd be possible, but fingers crossed.

I had a dream that jay Leno walked on stage during kanyes performance and licked his face like a cat, then left with no explanation. I consider this a good omen.

I hope so. I've had a hell of a time trying to see the Yeezus tour this year. My ex girlfriend bought us tickets, but we broke up and she asked for the tickets back before the Minneapolis Yeezus show. So I bought a new ticket for myself but then one of his semi trucks was in that accident, stage was damaged and he cancelled the show. He never rescheduled it like other cities so that's a huge part of why I'm going to Roo this year.

Oh man what a terrible string of bad luck! His Roo show is going to make you forget any of that bullshit happened. I did make to his Nashville show last November, and I am significantly more excited about seeing him at Roo.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
“But musically, he nails it beyond belief on”New Slaves.” It’s mainly just voice and one or two synths, very sparse, and then it suddenly breaks out into this incredible melodic… God knows what. Frank Ocean sings this soaring part, then it segues into a moody sample of some Hungarian rock band from the ’70s. It literally gives me goosebumps. It’s like the visuals at the end of the new Superman movie — just overwhelmingly incredible. I played it over and over.” — Lou Reed on ‘New Slaves’

You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.

I'm probably the only one NOT excited about the possibility of new music, given we aren't able to hear it first. I hate it when acts play new songs, it always confuses me as I don't know if its a deep cut or new. And even if they announce it's a new song, it's hard to really get into a track you've never heard before.

I agree if we are assuming the songs haven't leaked or been released yet.
I've never seen Kanye. So I've always wanted to hear a lot of songs from his first few albums. I'm worried this could end up clogging his setlist (if its subpar) along with Yeezus, Cruel Summer, 808s etc... Is there even room for All Falls Down and Through the Wire by that point?
However, if we can get our ears on this puppy even just a week before Roo it could be epic.
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

He did Through the Wire when I saw him. Not All Falls Down though, I was really disappointed with that

Yeah same here. If there was anything to complain about the show it would be a couple songs I wish would've been on the set list, really hard to complain with that show at all though. Lol

I guess its similar to Jay not doing much RD on tours. Although CD was more of a commercial success I think.

To be fair to Jay-Z, Reasonable Doubt is almost 20 years old and he's got about a dozen albums to choose cuts from, plus guest spots etc. It's tough to feature much more than a song or two from each album, especially when you're on an album tour.

Yeah I understand the reasoning. Like I said, RD was hardly a commercial success especially in Jay-Z terms. I still think when you mention Kanye a lot of people immediately think of His first couple albums. I could be off there. I hate to see Cruel Summer stuff infiltrating the possibilities of a Kanye West setlist regardless.
