Ok, so after VW, I'm thinking about going back to the campsite, to just get my tin foil hat, and maybe slam a beer or two real fast. You guys think I can make it back in time to still have a decent spot for Kanye?

I agree, if you want a good spot for Kanye, be in a good spot right after VW ends. I think that's gonna mark the start of when people will be trekking over to stake out space in the What field.

I think the honest correct answer here is to either buy beer or sneak a flask in instead of running to camp for beer? I'm not moving in between Vampire Weekend and Kanye any direction except forward.

Well I was planning on sneaking in a couple of water bottles with hard liquor in them, but what about my flipping TIN FOIL HAT!?!?
I'm getting to the What field for Umphrey's and am not leaving that field until Kanye is over...gonna move up between each set, so hopefully i'll be damn close by the time Kanye comes on...anybody else doing this?

Why not just start up close?
Maybe...but I'll prob want to just chill out and conserve energy throughout the day, and might not want to fight the crowd that early...but I may try to get close because the shade in the What field is closer to the stage...

I did this for Radiohead, and while it isn't a bad idea in theory, bathroom breaks become your biggest enemy as the crowd gets bigger and bigger. So stay away from beer and try not to break the seal, after that its rough going.

I'm used to it...I only live 20 min away from the farm, and for the past month I have been camped out by my buddies' pool all weekend trying to condition myself...sunscreen will be my only necessity since I am a pale-skinned ginger!
I guess either way we will get pictures of what our stage setup might look like! HURRY UP NIGHT TIME!
Do we think it will actually be a good indication? Not sure if its still the same but the last couple years, just seeing the dj sets) it seemed to be relatively small stage. I think I also saw that his set is scheduled as an hour and fifteen minutes. Not sure if he'll be bringing full production or what he will be up to tonight
