I'm not sure what happened on Thursday, but I stood outside the tent DIIV was scheduled to play at, and I never heard them play. They just played background recorded music for the hour they were supposed to be on stage.
Does anyone know what happened? I was really looking forward to seeing them and was disappointed that it was seemingly cancelled.

Earl Sweatshirt got sick and cancelled his set unfortunatly. DIIV took his spot.

So they also legit missed their flight at the same time Earl Sweatshirt got sick? Talk about things working out. I just assumed they were there already and were moved to fill that spot.
I would have been bummed had they not played. One of the best shows I saw all weekend. They also gave a shout out to Michael Azerrad, who was apparently in attendance.

Yep, well Earl's spot was the following day. But yeah it worked out well. Aside from confusing the f*ck out of some people walking up to the tent expecting to see Earl.

Did anyone else catch their Ford Tent show? It was pretty amusing. They dedicated the performance to their keyboard player "who quit the band this morning" and dedicated a few songs to him in a sarcastic manner.
Duder: "Hey, man .. I thought Earl playing here" Me: "He was supposed to but I guess he cancelled yesterday." Duder (kicks dirt) Duder (kicks more dirt) Duder: "F*ck .. F*ck .. F******CK!!Golf Wang!!Gooooooolf Waaaaaaang!!" *runs from tent*
