Of course I did lol. Actually the Travel Channel people were nice and very outgoing for the most part. Isabell, my main contact with them, was charming and genuinely seemed to want to be there. There were a few of the people I met that seemed snooty but overall, a good positive vibe was in place...I did however sense with some of them that they did not truly appreciate where they were or better yet, what Bonnaroo is truly all about. A majority got the message though. Now for the Adam Richman introduction...
When I first met Adam Richman, he was wearing a bandana to cover the bottom half of his face. When he stepped off his golf cart, he had a Starbucks drink in one hand while a girl with a lint brush "attended" to him. I literally thought "Oh no, I hope he is not uppity!", which turns out he truly was not that way at all. He even told me he would rather be drinking a beer and watching a show then doing all this primping sh!t (his words exactly). He was extremely appreciative of those of us who took the time to meet with him (during the heat of the day no less) and you can tell that he has a way with people. Some of the stuff that was discussed will in NO WAY make it on camera (The man knows about Mushrooms!) but still nonetheless you sensed he really enjoys music and enjoyed being there. His voice was shot by Sunday (which he openly made fun, claiming he sounded like he had drank Drain-O) but he gave back much love and respect to Bonnaroo and its ways. He told me he looked for me on Friday at Brunch and was glad I got to hang with him on Sunday.
Last but not least, he joined what I consider the greatest musical army ever! Adam Richman is a Pondo Army Member now, complete with his own membership card!

Awesome! I saw y'all waiting at the clocktower for this to get going on Sunday. The sun was blazin' hot and they were definitely late. Did he eat at Goatocado? That was my favorite place for breakfast. The Tropp got me going on more than one morning. When he came to brunch I was able to speak with him for a few (and snap a pic with him). He did a show on Los Reyes de la Torta nearly 3 years ago and I thanked him for it. He remembered what he had ordered and asked what my favorite torta was. The producer was standing next to me and said the guy (Adam) remembers everything. He was really genuine and freakin' hilarious. He even joked at one point about "needing his medication", which could be taken any number of ways, especially at Bonnaroo

Funny, every time I saw Pondo this year, he was leading his one soldier into or out of Cafe Where. Only went there 3 times this year, but saw him EVERY time, with the same dude following him around.

I met Adam Richman when he rolled though here on some Man vs. Food jawn a few years back. He was indeed a sold dude, though I'm glad to see he's lost some of the pounds.
Did they give you any information about how heavily you will be featured? Will you have your own theme music? Did you manage to convince Adam to wear your horns? What did you and the Travel Channel talk about?
I will only be on the very last segment (they said it guarentees some air time at least) but like I told them, no worries. I would have met them at Brunch but their schedule kept changing over and over and I had HORRIBLE cell coverage this yeat at Bonnaroo (Sprint is my carrier...more like crawl instead on the farm this year). My best friend wanted to get rail for Reptar and I already told him I would be there with him for that show. I promised him and, despite not getting to see Travel Channel at Brunch, I WAS NOT GONNA GO BACK ON MY WORD. To me, a promise to a friend is much more important than being on TV.
Originally, TC wanted to meet me on Thursday around 1-2 pm, which I told them was fine. Then they changed it (after I waited for about 45 min) to 5pm. I knew I was gona be in Reno 911 so tried to text them back to tell them to no avail.

Someone said everything he tried at brunch he would chew then spit out. It didn't seem like there was as much food there as usual. Of course I didn't really go by the food table until several hours into the brunch.

I've heard nothing but good things about the pie. Wish I had tried it. It seems like in every show watched of Man vs Food he will highlight local treats and then enter a challenge at a certain stop. Maybe Brunch was the challenge segment.
