I got a feeling they'd be next year's Postal Service, where they play every festival BUT Bonnaroo.
I will seriously cry, all I need in the lineup is modest mouse and the pixies, everything else would just be bonus, those are the first two bands that I ever really got into, so it would mean a lot to me to see them

Eeeeeh, Kim's absence is pretty evident on the new track, IMO, even though the vocals audibly resemble hers. Not sure I'd like to experience that absence on older songs, too.
(1) Damon Albarn (2) Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds (3) King Khan & His Shrines (4) Ty Segall (5) Ms Lauryn Hill (6) Darkside (7) Kanye (8) Janelle Monae (9) Goat (10) Meshuggah.
Saw them on the Doolittle tour, best show of my entire life. Into the White was the most awesome thing EVER. Is the Bossanova tour definitely happening?
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.
I love the pixies, when I was 16 the headshop we frequented played the pixies every time I was in there. I caught them in 05 at the Austin City Limits Music Festival. Awesome show. I am afraid I would just be very disappointed seeing them without kim and would probably just skip it instead of letting it mess up my great relationship with a great band. Why mess with a good thing?

Woohoo! Got a ticket to one of the club shows in LA this September. I know it's not the same without Kim Deal, but I am very excited to be crossing this band off "the list."
