I don't see an advantage to faking inspector at this point, but I want more time to make sure it makes sense to me when looking at all your previous posts Phi. so, not changing yet but certainly open, pending further review.
I only see 1 advantage. Bogart was mafia. Phi and Duddits are the last 2. They were headed for a head to head runoff and figured one would be killed and didn't like the others chances to last the rest of the game. I've only ever played one game where the inspector came out with 2 correct names on day 2(and it was me). Why come out before letting it go to runoff? Worst case you go into a runoff with Duddits and if at that point it was going to be you, then come out. Best case, you survive and get another guess. Hakuna >> Phi

Luckily, even if the townies are dumb enough not to vote off Ella or Hakuna this round, the game wont be over. And then they will have no choice but to whack me, thus proving I was telling the truth.

that's true. I was inspector and my first guess was right so I had two names on day 2. I came out because I thought it was more important for the town to have both names in case I got whacked. which of course I did after coming out. if phi isn't inspector, either the real inspector has only one name or is dead. I'm still waiting to read back through it all on my computer in a little while.
For now I am going to with Bogart. Not because I am sure he's mafia. Simply because Ella's name has come up a few times, but always as the third party. It hasn't been "Ella voted this way" but rather "So and so voted for Ella and then changed." I reserve the right to change, but I might not get back on until tomorrow morning so I wanted to get a vote out there.
This is sort of where im at. While neither has done anything worthwhile of a vote, for me it basically is coming down to who is more innocent. Ella seems to be the name that has been throw out more so as a target and there seems to be manipulation involved, while bogart seems to have just been tossed in. i'm not sold in any way shape or form but for now it's where i am. hakuna >> bogart
Is no one else going to weigh in on this? Pepe, LD, NoAge, Duddits? I'm really torn because I can see it both ways, and I don't know that the above post was exactly proof... But I am leaning towards believing Phi. just nervous that maybe Phi and Bonzai are both mafia and that's why she backed him up but no one else has said anything. (except Ella and Hakuna, of course)
I see no reason not to believe Phi. The fake inspector is a hard one to pull off and really risky for the mafia as it usually involves killing one of their own.

Can we get an updated tally Jimmy? I'm on my phone and it's hard to sort out. The only thing that sticks out to me here is that in addition to this saving Phi it also saves Duddits. but I also think it would be risky for mafia to fake inspector and there's no reason a townie would.

Because it was Ella vs. Bogart in the first round . All mafia votes had to go on Bogart to vote him out. It was 6 to 5.

I changed my vote from Pepe to you Phi, only after you placed a direct vote on me putting me at 3 votes at that point. If you were me at that point wouldn't you have done the same?
Also, why are O'neil, El-D and Pepe on your "not Mafia" list, but myself, Bonnie, and NoAge are all on your "possible Mafia" list?
