You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.
Phi is swinging for the fence in Day 3. I'm not buying the Inspector claim, and MAGICALLY having all 3 names in 3 days, the odds of that happening are sooo incredibly slim. The reasons he provided for me and Hakuna being Mafia were vague and were even questioned by other players. He posts 1 comment from Hakuna that he finds "suspicious" and says this is his reason he guessed Hakuna in Night 1, and magically Hakuna is Mafia.
He says his name given was Ella, and just like that after coming out as "Inspector" Ella is voted off, with lots of votes stacked and sandwiched in there for her to boot.
Then he claims that I'm Mafia because I didn't save Ella in Day 1 or continue to stack another vote on her when she was already out the door in Day 2. If I was Mafia, wouldn't I have wanted to blend in and stack a vote on Ella to separate myself from her? What did I do? I kept my vote on Phi. In Day 1 there were 6 votes for Bogart and 5 votes for Ella, if both were Townies how hard is it for Phi as Mafia to look at three Townies that voted Bogart and then say we are Mafia because we all voted against Ella. Hell, Bogart could have been Mafia! Phi has been controlling in this game since Day 1 in both his votes and his accustaions. That's not something an Inspector does, that's something Mafia does.
I'm not sure about anybody else in this game, but I am a Townie. And if there are 1 or 2 more Mafia members alive amongst Phi, this game will end quickly if we just follow Phi's claim of being Inspector and having all 3 names in Day 3. I also still find his list of likely Mafia and Unlikely Mafia in Day 2 damning. I was on that list, and I'm being claimed as the third Mafia member, NoAge was on that list and now he is dead. Bonzai was on that list, and Phi posts a long post about how he thinks Bonzai was the third Mafia, then quickly rebutts and says "Ooops, did I say Bonzai? Sorry I meant Duddits."
Why would Phi come out as fake Inspector in Day 2? Why not? As Mafia if Phi does that and the real Inspector is already dead, it's lights out for the Town. If Phi as Mafia comes out as fake Inspector and the real Inspector is still alive, it confuses the shiz out of the Town and the Mafia can just separate and divide. It was win-win for Phi, ESPECIALLY if he has distanced himself from the other Mafia. He can act on his own and stir shiz up while the other Mafia quietly sit and play the role of a Townie just going with the flow.
well, it sucks because at this point in the game, if Phi is lying and we whack Hakuna, then we lose. but if he's telling the truth we win. I honestly have no effing clue but I am leaning more now towards Phi being mafia... because he didn't get whacked. why wouldn't mafia whack Phi? when I came out as inspector on day 2 I got whacked. it's the only logical play for mafia to prevent another guess and having the inspector reveal the third mafia.
and I don't buy that he "goated" or goaded them into not killing him off. mafia would kill him anyway. if he is mafia and they were smart they would have whacked him though, so I'm not sure what the angle is here.
however, for now I have to go with my gut. I might be totally wrong like last game (sorry again Mike), but:

Ummm the post by Hakuna is only obvious BECAUSE I already had Ella's name.
Townies, go back and read that post by hakuna, and read it as if you KNEW Ella was mafia and tel me you wouldnt guess Hakuna. He was protecting her, wayyyyyyyyyyy obvious.
Townies, they only have to convince two of you. They're already got one sucker, please don't be a sucker. Go back and read all 8 pages as if you were inspector with Ella's name. It will all make sense.
look, I'm not locked in and I don't want to be the jackhole who loses the game here, but I'm just not convinced at this point. I will go back and read it both ways and post more after that.

So adversely, if Phi is telling the truth, killing him off would validate what he was saying and we'd obviously kill off Hakuna no questions asked. Then we'd only have to look to one more.
I'm not saying I'm 100% on believing Phi.. but I'm going to follow that path for now...

nope. not seeing it... there's just no reason the mafia would leave Phi alive to guess the third. if he died, we might all believe he's inspector and that Ella and Hakuna are mafia but we wouldn't have a third pinned down. especially because Phi didn't answer this question before the whack. so he never gave us his guess. a real inspector would post their best guess in case they got killed off. instead of posting a Homer Simpson photo and "zzzzzz"

FWIW, I was mafia the game you came out as inspector. And we definitely contemplated not whacking you so you would lose creditability with the town.
Think about it this way. If Phi would have gotten whacked then that pretty much confirms that he was inspector and ella and hakuna would have been voted straight off the next two rounds. Phi had already said he had high suspicion of Duddits and most likely we would have whacked duddits next. However, if they leave phi alive they try to plant a seed of doubt in the town, and again all they need is two townies to be fooled. Its definitely a high risk move but when your backed in a corner you have to start taking risks.

also, here's where I first suspected bonzai as the second:
when I said I think its Bonnie, I meant to say I think its Duddits.
Bonnie had a chance to save Ella this morning and didnt take it. Duddits was the one who wasnt around.

He had already answered who he thought his best guess was, so I quoted him to answer Pepe. I called him out on not answering Duddits because I feel like he could have said more on that (and wanted to hear what he had to say if he was going to get voted off)

If Pepe, Phi and I are mafia together, claiming to be fake inspector in this situation would make no sense. And then we'd also have to assume that mafia got lucky and got the real inspector on day one- Mike D.

I don't think all 3 Mafia are alive still, like Pepe said it doesn't make sense for Phi to come out as "Inspector" in Day 2 if all 3 were alive and healthy. I would have to think there are only 1 or 2 left and they would be distancing themselves from each other. Speaking of, where is El-D in all of this hoopla???
I wouldn't say I'm sitting back. I have been quiet by my standards the whole game. I'm usually much more talkative as both townie and mafia. At this point I see my fate as sealed and I'm not goig to try and fight a battle that already seems decided. The town will see another day after I go and still have a chance to win.
