I'm not going to lie, based on that video I would go see these guys. That light show looks like an evil robot takeover.
I think their live show would be awesome, in their defence I posted one of the most insane songs they have. But I can see why people would be turned off by them.
Disclosure Four Tet The Chemical Brothers Jamie xx James Blake Matthew Dear Justice
I wish Bonnaroo would only book good electronic music
I don't think they've done a bad job at booking electronic artists. But as much as I like them, it's getting stale to see every festival trot out some combination of PL Bassnectar Skrillex and Mau5 year after year.

Well we just got Four Tet last year, I would love to see him again but he won't be back so soon. I'm expecting Disclosure to be there though. If you haven't seen them yet, don't miss them. As far as the rest of your list, I'd love for any of those acts to be there but wouldn't say they are likely.

"edm" i'd like to see this year at roo:
headliner: tiesto or avicii would be a great edm headliner, yes i know they're the mainstream choices but the togetherness vibes they put forth are perfect for the venue
others: flux, carnage, krewella, le castle vania, major lazer/diplo, kill the noise, skrillex (i know that's a long shot), knife party

Please no Tiesto or Avicii. Tiesto hasn't made good music in years and phones it in for his performances. Avicii is a pretty mediocre DJ imo. For the more typical edm, I'd really think Eric Prydz in the Boys Noize spot would be great. I'd rather have guys like Flume, XXYYXX, and Gold Panda over the cheesiness of Krewella, Carnage, and others. Porter's spot should be taken by someone like Madeon, Mat Zo, or Gesafeelstein.

yea i hear ya that people don't want them, but ya gotta realize the headlining spot is going to be soembody along those lines. i still like tiesto cuz he was the first "techno" act i discovered about 6+ years ago when i first got into it. madeon or zo would be awesome for sure, i want to see some trance on the farm this year. and as far as avicii goes i'm not saying he's the most talented in the world by any means but i do enjoy his sound and the mixes he puts together

Forgot about Disclosure but at this point I think they're a given. I'm not sure they're at the level of playing late night which but we will see in a few months.
LN Which will probably be Bassnectar or Deadmau5. I know Zedd, Krewella, and others are popular right now but I'd rather they not come.
i really don't want deadmau5 to be there his set is so used up and old...bassnectar meh, everybody has seen him.
but tiesto and avicii??
idk i just think they have a good vibe for the farm, uplifting fun stuff, not that tiesto really plays or has many original songs anymore, i just want to see them in a larger venue than my local 2000 person venue, not that it wasn't awesome there either. i get the hate of the mainstream techno. understandable. avicii at least has a new cd and tiesto is probably the biggest name around

yea there's a couple songs in enjoy on there (wake me up (i know you probably hate that one), you make me, dear boy) but i am in know way knowledgeable about music production and what it takes to make half of this stuff anyways. at least he went out on a limb with the fold sound whether you (not you specifically) like it or not.

I don't think their big enough either, they'd be great though. I'm just hopeful we don't get the trash that is DeadMau5, Tiesto, Avicii, Hardwell, Armin Van Buren, or Calvin Harris.

I've seen him and he's pretty average. I'm not a hater of all mainstream EDM or anything, but there's no way you can rip on Deadmau5's live shows and like this dude. It makes zero sense.

i'm not saying deadmau5 is terrible i mean the guy is an amazing producer but sometimes i just get a little tired of it. saw him a few years back and his live shows are really fun. i just like checking mixjunkies daily they put out the mixes from the festivals that are just happening and all that rather than searching for them myself (i have no internet at home and must use work internet to its fullest capabilities).
