I went to Lunarmassive last weekend and there were a few acts I was really shocked by. Machine Gun Kelly put on a great set but Black Sun Empire totally killed it. Probably one of the best sets I've seen and certainly the best DnB set followed closely by Andy C in the summer.
I wouldn't be stoked on Deadmau5 or Bassnectar doing 'Roo '14 (they've both performed there before), but I'd still go and rage if they were last man standing. I'd love Carnage, Showtek, Diplo, Dillon Francis, Modestep, Knife Party or Feed Me. It honestly doesn't really matter too much who performs...I love Late Night 'Roo regardless.
MODESTEP YES. saw them at lolla this year. loudest bass I've ever heard. louder than datsik/excision/bassnectar. pure madness
Daft Punk (Headliner) Justice (LN Which) Steve Aoki Zeds Dead Diplo/Major Lazer (either would be great) Adventure Club Tiesto Knife Party
this is a one or the other list? Or just "a perfect yet completely unrealistic line up would be..." I mean, Daft Punk AND Justice????? That much awesome is painful to even attempt to imagine.
Why not? lol Electronic Dance Music. They're electronic synthpop. I really don't care what they're labeled as though, just hope they're there.
I do agree. Would love to see them as a thursday night act in one of the tents. Seen them twice this year and they just blew your mind once in a gig with insane production and saw them at Firefly Fest in Dover.

Really wanted to see New World Punks...just couldn't swing it. I've seen Markus and Ferry separately but would love to see them tag team a whole set!
So many terrible wants in this thread. Do people really yearn for that much knuckleheaded fistpumping and brostep? And for people who love "music" like Steve Aoki and Adventure Club and whatnot, how on earth do you reconcile that with a professed fandom for Daft Punk? I'm honestly asking, because the differences on so many levels are astounding.
I heard Adventure Club for the first time not too long ago. I liked it. I have also enjoyed Daft Punk. I am basing that on the fact that...I like what I am hearing when each of them are playing. Not based on my fandom of one or the other.

Never seen Aoki. His show looks pretty fun, although from a musical standpoint hes terrible and obviously just pressing play and running all around. Saw Adventure Club last week, wasn't anything special but I dug a few tracks.
Gotcha, sorry for my lack of understanding. I have no problem with you asking why, about anything. I was just thinking about my likes and dislikes, some of them do not make sense. It happens.
the one EDM act I want more than anything in the world is a Big Grizmatik or Grizmatik set.
Personally I would rather just see Gramatik and Big Gigantic have their own shows. Not really a fan of Griz.
Wouldn't be apposed, I love all 3 of them so much. Can't get enough of the funk. Saw Griz Saturday. Gramatik was my favorite set at TW, and Big G I saw like 3 weeks ago. all amazing

I would really LOVE to see Big Grizmatik! I've seen all separately numerous times and didn't make it to Electric Forest last year to see Big Grizmatik shut it down apparently! I caught a really good Griz show here in Omaha last year (or the year before?) that changed my mind on him. I feel like when hes on (and really getting into) a live show its something to see! It changed a lot of my friends minds on Griz too!
It's nice to see the 3 acts really bring a different flavor to 'EDM' music! I'm not sure if they would be listed on the line-up as Big Grizmatik (or any form of the collaboration). I think that IF it did happen it would be some sort of surprise LN thing or during a long set. (Big Gigantic during Umphreys type of thing)

It's like enjoying lobster, caviar, and Kraft mac n cheese. They are all good, some better than others, but sometimes you just want a bowl of artificial cheesy pasta.

I think for me my Holy Grail (that will pretty much never happen at Bonnaroo) would be for Aphex Twin to play. A Ghostland Observatory set that lead into an Aphex Twin set would be beyond words.

After being at Bassnectar at Roo 11...I'm completely ok with him being in one of the EDM slots every year. That show was insane!
