TeamGovBall 8 points 12 hours ago Pearl Jam. They already had plans to be in Europe for their summer tour. Next time!! Also, Jagwar Ma. They're an awesome up and coming young act. They already had plans to be in europe as well. They rule. - JW
Looks like Jagwar Ma is out

Went to see my friends band, Mohican, in Philadelphia on the 18th and ran into Mike Greenfield of Lotus.... He didn't say they weren't playing Bonnaroo, but at the time they were not contacted... so id assume Lotus is a no-go.
Just heard from the band San Fermin on Facebook that they weren't coming this year. They're playing Firefly so I figured they'd be a shoe-in but I guess not
Too bad. I'm catching them in St. Louis next month (and also saw them last fall), but was still hoping they'd be at the farm.
Much to my dismay, I think Regina Spektor is out of the question (maybe not though, fingers crossed!). She went and got herself knocked up, so probably no Only Son either.
That probably won't show up right 'cause I'm a forum noob, but she announced it on Facebook yesterday. but congrats to Regina and Jack!!

Bummer about Modest Mouse, but I'm glad I live not too far from Shaky Knees and can still catch them this year. I wanted to check out that fest anyway. Thanks for the info gab
hey just wanted to let you guys know umphreys shouldn't be considered confirmed. my friends just went to two shows at the beacon and hung out with the band after the show and asked about bonnaroo. their reply was they don't think so, but they are going to be at wakarusa the weekend before so if roo asks them they will definitely be there. sorry to those of you who were excited and thought it was a lock.
talked to my friends last night to clarify a bit more, at the time they talked to umphreys they had not even been approached to play the festival. not sure if i made that clear in my post.
Ex-The Cardigans frontwoman Nina Persson, Mo, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Flogging Molly, Mount Kimbie, and The Mountains are the latest acts announced for Denmark's NorthSide festival

this is obvious but we definitely won't be among the million fests hosting jack johnson this year. just saw confirmation from brushfire on his fb page.

This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
Kind of a bummer that acts like Rudimental, Jagwar Ma, Laurel Halo, Machinedrum are all out - I mean, I couldn't really see Machinedrum or Laurel Halo playing Bonnaroo anyway, but still.
Pretty sure Governor's Ball tried to get them, and said they couldn't because Jagwar Ma is going to be overseas during June.
Well bugger! They're one of the top acts I want to see right now. Have a feeling they'd be great live. I still listen to their album several times a week.

It was my #1 album of 2013 - it gets weekly plays from me. I've been reading about them live, and the report is that they'd gotten pretty stellar. Just a really fun, joyous dance party. They are probably my #2 overall act at Coachella behind only OutKast.
Just because Governors Ball couldn't get them doesnt mean they wouldn't want to play Roo.. I say Jagwar Ma plays.. Just a guess though

Jagwar Ma isn't playing Governor's Ball because they're overseas that weekend. It's entirely possible that they could fly back to the U.S. the following week to play Bonnaroo, but the smart money would be that they're going to do a run of Euro shows and fests.
True.. A back to back act with Chvrches on Thursday almost seems right though.
