So both Dopapod and GPGDS are in my city tonight. Just hoping to get a little feedback from those of you who have seen either band live to help me decide which band to see.

Have never seen GPGDS, but have seen Dopapod twice. Once was Sunday night shakedown street, Bonnaroo 2011, that was a really great time. I also saw them a few months back, and it was a pretty good show.

Seen both over the past three months. Both are great and put on good shows where you wont be disappointed.
Saw Giant Panda at All Good in July at the campground stage. Never heard of them before that, very cool band. people say they cross genres with their various albums but when I saw them it was definitely psychedelic reggae driven.
Saw Dopapod at the Rex Theatre in pittsburgh about month ago. Very good. Again never really listened to them much before the show, I went because of Papadosio playing after. They jam, pretty extensively; longer songs, each instrumentalist gets a chance to show off a bit, then they bring it all together with a big intense climax.
All in all it depends on personal preference. I say you cant go wrong, and its not worst predicament to be in.
