Those ladies have been on my wishlist for a minute now. I'm not as good at schedule guessing as others, but unless they blow up even more in the next few months, I'm thinking that rather than Friday they would be a Thursday night show, along the lines of Django Django, Japandroids, Alt-J, Father John Misty.
It would take a big conflict for me to miss 'em, whenever they play.
Thursday night is probably more likely, but they are really only just getting across the states this fall. They've opened some dates for QotSA, which is going to help their exposure some. They've got a good handful of songs that they haven't put on wax yet, which suggests to me that there may be an EP or LP sooner rather than later, which would boost them up too.
But yeah, I don't necessarily care when they play, I will be there. They're just too good live to skip.

I'm all for it. Have just recently become a fan. Saw them on Jools and was really impressed with their performance, I think they'd kill it at Roo.
I too think they'll end up Thursday, but I also think they could be this years Foals. As in random people who don't know much about them catch the show and get their minds blown.
I was expecting a lot when i saw them, given their live reputation, and they totally surpassed it. What I thought would be a short, intense, serious, and economical set to a small crowd on a last minute show on a Tuesday night ended up being interesting and fun. They played with a lot of humor, let their songs breath, played extended jams, new jams, and really dancey jams. In fact, if they went into a dancier direction with their next album, they would be all the better for it.
This is the one band that has eluded me all year. Would love to see them, anywhere including Bonnaroo!
(I even made sure my 60 year old aunt saw them in SF a few weeks ago )
Why didn't you catch them at Coachella? They were really great.
You know what's funny, while I was packing last night I saw their name on my Coachella sweatshirt and nearly died. They must not have been on my radar at the time, or I totally spaced. Either way, sucks, ugh!

I'm 100% on board. Saw them in Atlanta at a small (maybe 100-200), last-minute show a few weeks ago. They were incredible, intense, everything else you'd imagine.
However, after the show I met Jehnny, the lead singer, and we talked for about 5 minutes. When I said, "You guys should play Bonnaroo next summer, you'd crush there," she said, "What's Bonnaroo?" And she wasn't kidding. Hopefully putting it in her ear will help make this happen. There's still time for them (or their people) to figure it out.

You heard it here AC/Superfly. We want Savages and they don't know who the fuck you are. Call em!

Someone needs to introduce Capp Dogg to Savages and vice-versa.
I'm sure his interims and booking/planning staff will spread the word. I saw Savages at a fest during the afternoon earlier this year and it was one of the most energetic shows of the day. I hope to catch them again soon.

Friend of mine turned me on to this band in August. Missed my chance to see them when they came to Chicago shortly after that and I'm still kicking myself for that. Savages need to be at Bonnaroo this year.
