I ended up getting a slightly cheaper hotel in Palm Springs, I'm planning on renting a car and day parking. I have an extra bed if anyone wants to split, would be nice to have some company!
Can you start the payment plan whenever or do you have start it now?
I may be doing an internship in London from Jan-May next year. But if I don't get it then I'll def be doing Coach. Party at my Gramdmas house!!! She lives like 5mins away and has a pool and a grill and makes the best flautas around.... Just sayin.
Oh, and she'll pick us up and drop us off. I love my abuelita!
Payment plan is only available during the presale, which lasts a week at most. Otherwise you have to wait until the general onsale, which comes after the lineup announcement.
Also, the wording in the FAQ makes it sound as if they put all of the tickets up during the presale and only sell what is left over later...
I MISSED THE ADVANCE SALE!!!!!. When do the rest of the passes go on sale? Anything we have left will go on sale when the line up comes out next year. Check back later. Fingers crossed!

Gotcha. Thank you! That's kind of a bummer.. I suppose I can just start saving and fingers crossed on getting a ticket GA when that time comes. I suppose all I can do is just wait and see.

It was probably just the area we were in but it wasn't so much fun. No one bothered to stake anything down. When we got back to camp Saturday night, our neighbors EZ UP had fallen over and smashed our tent. We ended up sleeping in the car and were leaving Sunday after Arcade Fire, so it wasn't too bad, just sucked when we saw it.

Yea in 2012 our neighbors didnt stake their crap down and during the Sunday sandstorm their massive PVC pipe canopy ended up upside down across 3 campsites, mine included. Broke everyone's EZUPs and scratch a bunch of cars.

I'll be in Palm Springs, too, with either my wife or son...so no to roommates, but definitely down for going in on rental costs.

The presale allotment for both W1 and W2 always sell out, with W1 usually within hours of presale starting. That being said if you do end not being able to make it you wont have any problem finding a buyer for it.

General FYI, through budget.com I was able to get a Th-Mn rental from San Diego Airport for $103 total all included, so if anyone else plans on flying into SAN, get on that deal!

There's something to be said for walking to your tent in a matter of minutes and flopping down into your tent...but it sure doesn't beat walking into a freezing cold room with perfectly fluffed bedding and refrigerated drinks waiting for you (and the running water doesn't hurt either).

Yeah, showering after a sweaty day in the desert is going to be a bonus!

Piggybacking on this post, I decided to book a rental for LAX as well incase flying in there was cheaper, and found a rental for $78 total!! If you're thinking you need one, go to kayak right now. Cards aren't charged until rental date, and cancellation is easy, you have nothing to lose!

It's just over a mile from The Saguaro Palm Springs stop. Which doesn't sound bad, until you have to do it at the end of the night. Tempting though.

Is it not? I thought the shuttles went to that very corner where all the hotels are. Admittedly I've never used the shuttles before, and probably won't next year either.

I just tried booking a car on Kayak and even though you could choose april 2015 dates, it wouldn't show any results?
Weird, I didn't have that issue. Try carrentals.com, it's the direct website the kayak booking used.
